I have reset two inertia switches on cars because the were in an accident. I have never replaced one because it was bad. Replace the fuel pump. It's under the back seat.

This engine has two camshaft sensors located on the cylinder head side( on the air intake side).

bank two is the bank of cylinders that is closer to the radiator...not the firewall side.

Hi, this cars cam sensors are easy to change. One on the right side and one on the left side of the motor.

1. Remove the mounting bolt.
2. Remover the connector
3. Remove the sensor
4. Install new sensor.
5. Reverse to complete.
6. Same for the sensor on the other side.

I would look for 12volt supply to the port. Possible blown fuse.

You might check with your local sheriff department. I know localy where I live they will assist with vehicle entry if your keys get locked into your car. There really isn't an easy way to get your hood opened from outside of your car.

Because you removed the fob battery and further compounded by the fact you disconnected the vehicle battery, the complete lock system and the anti-theft immobilizer system needs reprogramming. The valet key on my car has a chip in its credit card style case. It will start the car if the case is close, or you can give the key to someone just to gain entry to the car and not start it.

Try this have someone assist you take and pull the hood latch and have someone tap the middle of the hood with there hand while you pull the latch all the way out and as they are tapping on the hood let go of the latch if it still doesnt open try this a few more times.If you get the hood open where the locking mechanism is under the hood spray a little WD-40 or PB blaster something like that to help it work better the next time.

We have two Nissan 200sx's, a 1995 manual and a 1996 auto. Both had this problem and both turned out to be the same thing. The "idle air control valve." It was most noticeable if you ran the air conditioner and then came up to a red light. You would have to keep pushing on the brake and race the engine a little to keep it from shutting off. Replaced that part and both cars have never had the problem again.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. The 2007 Nissan Maxima Camshaft Position Sensor Bank 1 Location is located on the top right side of the engine, near the firewall. It is in line with cylinder number 1, and it will be found between two spark plugs.

Where Is The Camshaft Position Sensor Located On A 2007 ...

Call up an auto electrician, he will come to you and connect his pro grade scan tool computer to the diagnostic port. That tells you the problem and from that you do the fix. P0443 - Evaporation Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit

Hi. This code is referring to a malfunctioning Valve circuit, or defective purge solenoid.

The Evaporative Emissions System (EVAP) allows fumes from the gas tank to enter the engine to be burned, rather than vented into the atmosphere as an emission(emission control device). The purge valve solenoid is supplied voltage by the battery, and regulated by a switch. The ECM controls the valve by operating the ground circuit, opening the purge valve at specific times, thus, allowing these gasses to enter the engine. The ECM monitors the ground circuit as well, watching for faults. When the purge solenoid isn't activated, the ECM should see a high voltage on the ground circuit. When the solenoid is activated, the ECM should see the ground voltage registered as a low current, close to zero. If the ECM doesn't see these expected voltages, or senses an open circuit, this code is issued.

SYMPTOMS:

Symptoms could be just a malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) illumination. There may be no driving issues at all. But, it's also possible to have a lean condition or a rough running engine if the purge valve is stuck open. Usually, the symptoms are accompanied by other EVAP codes. Another symptom may be excessive pressure in the gas tank in the form of a over pressured sound when the cap is removed, indicating a purge valve that isn't working at all or stuck closed.


CAUSES:

1. Bad Solenoid(mechanical failure, or shorted circuit)
2. Shorted control circuit, or bad harness connection
3. Water Damaged connection
4. Bad ECM/PCM


SOLUTIONS:

1. It is possible to use a diagnostics scan CPU to command the purge valve to operate, manually. Listen or feel for a clicking coming from the purge solenoid. It should click once, or on some models it may click repeatedly.

2. If it doesn't click, unplug the connector, and examine the solenoid and connector for damage(water). Check for battery voltage on the feed wire with the key on. If you have battery voltage, then ground the control side manually using a jumper wire and see if the valve clicks. If it does, then you know the solenoid is working properly but there is a problem with the control circuit. If it doesn't click when you manually ground it, replace the purge solenoid. If it dose click, this will confirm that the solenoid is functional, and the ECM/PCM will be the culprit(Damaged control circuit).
