Been having alot of difficulty in day to day starting of 02 acura tl. I removed the spark plug #4 to check for spark and . When the spark plug is out of cyc head it starts right up, piease help ?

This is Coil On Plug ignition. yes?

Are you getting cylinder 4 misfires?.

Reinstall plug and COP but leave cable disconnected to coil. If its seems to start ok with only the COP disconnected I would suspect noise is being fed back from the COP and disruptIng ignition for the other cylinders.

If you replace the COP don't go cheap... pay the premium for the OEM part.

I have a fuel line leak under the rear seat of my 1996 Acura TL What connections are behind the protective cover?

I am unfamiliar with the model but I expect it will be similar to many cars with electrical connection for the fuel gauge sensor and the fuel pump and flow and return fuel lines. By 1996 fuel line connections made with short lengths of fuel hose secured with hose clips were being replaced by push on/quick release connectors sealing with an internal O ring. If the fuel lines are steel there will still be short lengths of hose used but if the fuel lines are nylon the quick release unions are fitted directly into them. Some quick release connectors are difficult to disconnect without either the special pliers or more hands than there is access for. Cleanliness is important before disconnecting and absolute cleanliness before reconnecting is essential with a spray of silicone or similar on the spigot before pushing the connector fully home until it clicks into place.

2008 acura tl. hard shift.

I can answer generally for all luxury cars that have gotten old, whether they be Mercedes Benz, BMW, Cadillac, Lincoln, Acura, Infiniti, etc. They all reach a point that they become too expensive to repair. Repairing an old luxury car is as expensive as repairing a new luxury car. As a basic example, many years ago my parents owned a Cadillac Cimarron, the cheapest Cadillac made at that time. One day, the alternator went out on it. A typical rebuilt alternator at that time cost around $65, but for that car the rebuilt alternator cost $400. The manufacturers (both cars and parts) figure that if you can afford to purchase the car, you can afford the premium repair bills. The size of the repair bills doesn't go down as the car gets older. An owner who is trying to unload an old luxury car at a rock bottom price is looking for a sucker who doesn't realize this yet to take the money pit off his hands at a price that is higher than an automotive salvage yard will pay for it.

Why is my parking lights turns on when i connect the rear dvd monitor on my 2005 acura mdx and drained my battery?

By 2005 nearly all cars were fully computerised and switching duties carried out by computer commands and black boxes - it doesn't need much to interfere with or upset with the correct operation of the computerised system. You failed to mention how or to what you are connecting the rear dvd monitor but obviously it is interfering with the car's computer system.

My 1996 Acura vibrates when you accelerate

I would check for worn motor mounts and CV joints on the front axles. These would be the most likely culprits.

Last month I lost my key fob to my 2005 Acura RL. I paid a locksmith to make me a manual key and I've been starting and driving the car with no problems. I can unlock the door with the manual key, but I could not lock it with the key, I have to lock it from inside manually. All of a sudden today when I started the car and the alarm started blaring and would not stop unless I disconnected the battery. Please help.

See above owners manual.

If you have been using your plain key to unlock the door and start without a remote then likely your lost set is in the vehical and the remote battery has run low.

I believe the alarm is an unauthorized entry and not the immobilizer as it wouldn't start/run.

Try digging into seat crevices, underneath, or between seats and center console... likely the lost remote and transponder key are somewhere inside the car.

Take it in, you have a Brake Problem. Brakes changing no problem but when the warning system is telling you, take it in! Don't mess with brakes and don't put it off getting looked at. Think, If you do get in an accident you could be at fault if your brakes did not work properly...
