Go back and ask them to do it. Tell them we said they should have done it, and they must do it for free. It literally takes less than 2 minutes! Very often the car will automatically turn the Engine Malfunction Light off after about 3 days of driving. It is sampling all the time and will realize the fault is no longer there. ..

The person you have checking your vehicle is a parts replacer. Not a mechanic. He's just hoping to hit it right, eventually. Have someone check the sensors at the rotors my friend. Most likely one is out of position and not picking up the proper message for the computer. Yes, once the light is out, from all the other work he's done, it will come back on each time. That's just the nature of the beast. If it is just a sensor at the rotor out of adjustment, the light wont come back on.

take the door panel off and see whats broken

lift the hood on the front of the rad you will find a plastic black cover , its held on with push pin fasteners to remove them you need to lift the center bit , use a small screw driver to do this the fastener now lift out there should be 6 to 8 of them now this cover will come off, you will find 4 10mm bolts that hold the light assemble in place take them out gentley remove said light , the bulb comes out with a 1/4 turn of the light socket DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS PART OF THE BULB WITH YOUR BARE HANDS AS THE OIL ON YOUR SKIN WILL CAUSE A HOT SPOT AND BURN THE BULB OUT WEAR GLOVES IF YOU NEED TO TOUCH THE BULB! repete process to install

Some automatic transmissions have a drain plug on the pan, most don't. The fuid on the drain pan is drained as the pan comes off the transmission. Most torque converters don't have a drain plug, few do. Generaly, most of the fluid remains in the torque converter, many pints of fluid. The best change in this case is to do a transfusion of the fluid at a shop. Some people disconnect a fluid hose to coolant in the radiator and pour the fluid in the filler hole quickly with the engine in idle as the fluid drains out the disconnected hose. I'd rather take it to a shop for a trans fusion
