2008 GMC Savana Cargo Questions & Answers
I have a holden senator new model 2009, a car slightly.
Depending on how deep the scratches are, you may be able to keep the bumper. You can probably sand, bondo, prime and paint the bumper and be ok. If you choose to replace, after market bumper covers start and around $70 usd and OEM bumpers start at $250 usd. Good Luck I hope you find this very helpful!
Dome light will not turn
It greatly depends on what type of vehicle it is (you didn't indicate make or model). However quite a lot of vehicles have an actual over ride switch or interior light kill switch. Some are in the overhead console (has a light with a slash thru it). Others are in the rotary switch for the dome lights, if turned on way to the max it shuts off the lights. Others are simply a push button on the dash near the headlight switch, in the center console or even on the steering wheel lever. If it doesn't have an over ride switch then its most likely a blown fuse, which will need further diagnosis.
Code p0335 crank sensor problem
changed
If a crank sensor is bad, it would either start or not start.
If it is missing, then the coil pack or ignition module is likely faulty.
You can hook a voltmeter up to the wiring to the sensor and crank the car and make sure you are getting the same 12 volt reading on the sensor and the wiring as well. It will take 20 cranks for a system to relearn
My tensioner for the drive
There is no way to put it back together. The system is spring loaded and if it is now in pieces, it was time replace 3 months ago. The tensoiners can be purchased at any auto parts store. They come with a new bolt and are very easy to install. When you put the belt/new belt on, make sure you can read the writing like holding a book in your hand. This will make sure you have no squeeling even with a new belt. Let me know if you need anything else.
My 200 gmc van blows
The new starter may be binding with the flywheel, if there was a shim that came with the new starter it should be used. If the fuse never blew before the starter was replaced I would bring the starter back and exchange it for another one the starter itself could be faulty right from the remanufacturer, it is most likely drawing too much power to do its work therebye blowing the fuse. Check all wires to the starter ensuring that no wires are crossed or touching a metal surface.
Getting code C0292 lost communication with Engine Control System any ideas on a fix! 2004 GMC Yukon Denali XL
The C0292 code in your 2004 GMC Yukon Denali XL indicates a communication issue between the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM). Here are some steps to diagnose and potentially fix the problem:
Check Ground Connections:
Inspect the ground connections related to the PCM and EBCM.
Follow the ECM ground and ABS module ground.
Check the ground on the firewall (driver's side) and the frame rail under the driver's seat.
Also, verify the engine ground on the driver's side.
Inspect Wiring and Connectors:
Visually examine the wiring harness and connectors associated with the EBCM.
Look for any signs of damage, such as broken wires or corroded pins.
Ensure that the connector pins are not bent or pushed out.
Pay attention to any loose or poor electrical connections.
Consider the Tune:
If you've recently modified the vehicle's tuning, consider reverting to a different tune.
Sometimes, a specific tune can cause communication issues.
If you suspect the tune, contact the tuner for further guidance1.
Professional Diagnosis:
If the above steps don't resolve the issue, it's advisable to seek professional help.
A qualified mechanic can perform a thorough diagnosis using specialized tools.
Keep in mind that diagnostic costs typically range from $75 to $150 per hour.
