Air not blowing out of vents in 2008 Honda Civic, desperate for help!
There are 3 things that could go wrong, the 1st 2 fairly easy and inexpensive and the most common. The blower motor can fail, ($127 from Honda, cheaper aftermarkets available) Easy to replace, just 3 screws. To try and confirm this, locate the blower motor, above the passengers feet, in front of the glove box. (Find a Youtube video on replacing it) With the car running and the fan switch on, hit the bottom of the blower, hard, with the palm of your hand. More than once, if it doesn't come on. If it does come on, it is bad. It might work for awhile, but it will need to be replaced.
2nd is the blower resister, $49 from Honda, 2 screws hold it in, look at Youtube. This takes a little more testing with a volt meter or test light and jumper wires, but not hard and pretty fast for a skilled technician.
3rd is the heater control panel, about $150 from Honda. This will take some diagnostics and a skilled technician to replace. This failure is uncommon, but does happen.
1 of the 1st 2 is almost always the failure, good luck.
