If the alarm is aftermarket I would remove it , I see this problem several times a month , take a test light and test for power at the starter signal wire while someone turns the key to crank this is the small gauge wire going into starter,if there is no power at this wire it will not crank ,if you momentarily apply voltage to the starter signal wire it will crank( also check starter signal fuse)(most alarm systems have a starter interrupt system ,and the aftermarket alarms fail after a few years) Alot of people believe there alarm is factory because it was there when they bought it new but dealer do add alarms that are aftermarket to please there insurance companies

Note the diagram. With the ac on, vehicle in park, engine running, raise the hood, when problem is ongoing, is the compressor clutch engaged? Sometimes, you can tell. The top circle is ac relay. The bottom circle should be magnetic clutch/compressor. At the compressor clutch, top wire in diagram, I believe it is green and yellow, It should have voltage, use a test light to check. It appears to ground through compressor body. Voltage and grounds are important. The compressor body won't get any voltage unless ac relay is energized. Top circle. The relay has two sides, load side and control side, The load side is that line with arrowhead, the control side is the right side, in the circle. You can see ac fuse above relay. The control side needs voltage and ground. Another thought, temp door under the dash has a problem? Any applicable trouble codes?

The knock sensor will cause the ignition timing to ******, which will cause a lack of power, however, it's important that the engine camshaft/crankshaft timing was set properly when rebuilding the engine, if this is off, the engine will have no power and you could set the knock sensor code.
