I had this same issue--turned out it is a documented factory defect. When I went back to the dealer, they knew all about it--took about a hour to repair (no charge).

You have a ground problem. Since it starts battery to engine ground is good. You need to check or add ground wires from the battery to the body, from the engine to body, and I put an extra ground wire from the transmission to the engine.

Actually, my wiring info calls it a power outlet. Note the picture. That fuse should be in the integrated power module, under the hood. Usually a fuse has a bare spot over each fuse leg, use a test light, If both legs light-up, so far so good. In the diagram, the top wire is voltage, bottom wire is ground. You have to have both or it won't work. The ground wire is black.

Should be labeled, but if not, why not just check all fuses?

Overdrive engages at speeds between 40-45 mph, you should leave it on most of the time, you can disengage overdrive only when towing or going on hilly terrain
