Brake lights, abs light,and slippery lights all
there is possibly a fault in the ABS system which would disable the stability control and may also turn on the brake light. The best bet is to have the ABS computer scanned for codes. If there is or was a fault a code would be stored. Once you know the code you will have a much better understanding of what the problem could be.
You will need a high end multifunction scan tool or and ABS specific code reader to pull codes. Your local parts store may be able to do this for you. If you are still within the 3/36 warranty the dealer should do this at no charge. If you are out of warranty any shop or toyota dealer can help you with this but there is usually a charge for this service. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

On a car that new, still under warranty, I would think long and hard before I replaced the transmission fluid with oil of any type. I would start by calling the service department at a dealer, pay them a hundred bucks to explain your situation before you void your warranty and go a thou or two into the hole.
