I crashed my Volvo s80 2007 3.2 and worked on putting it back together and it won't cracked or start and I can't pull out the fob I thought it might be the shut off full switch but I can't find it?

If your 2007 Volvo S80 3.2 is not starting after being involved in an accident, there could be a number of issues that need to be addressed. Here are a few things to check:
  1. Ignition switch: The ignition switch is responsible for sending power to the starter motor and other electrical components. If the switch is damaged or not working properly, the engine will not start.
  2. Battery: After an accident, the battery may have been damaged or disconnected. Check to make sure the battery is fully charged and connected properly.
  3. Fuel system: The fuel system may have been damaged in the accident, preventing fuel from reaching the engine. Check the fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel pressure to make sure they are working properly.
  4. Starter motor: The starter motor is responsible for turning the engine over when the key is turned. If the starter motor is damaged, the engine will not start.
  5. Shut-off switch: Some Volvo models have a shutoff switch that is triggered in the event of an accident to prevent the engine from starting. This switch may have been triggered and needs to be reset.
  6. Key fob: The key fob needs to be in the car for the car to start. If the key fob won't come out of the ignition, it may be that the key fob is jammed inside the ignition and needs to be pulled out.
It's very likely that the shutoff switch is the cause of the problem, as you suspected. You should check your car's owner manual or contact a Volvo dealership or a professional mechanic to help you locate the shut-off switch and check if it is the cause of the problem. It's also possible that the accident caused multiple issues and it's best to have the car properly inspected by a professional.

Hi 2016 Volvo V40 C2 just been serviced at Volvo, after a few days found park assist working intermittently. I had it back to Volvo and they can't find fault. Any ideas, thanks.

Various help here, but as the reversing lights don't work, my guess is an intermittent fault in the shift lever switch. Your question appears in this link, but attributed to other sites. https://www.google.com/search?q=2016+Volvo+V40+C2+park+assist+working+intermittently ..

Need help with Unresponsive Driver Side Power Seat Controls and SRS Air Bag Warning Message on 2008 Volvo S40 2.4i

If you are experiencing unresponsive driver side power seat controls and an SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) airbag warning message on your 2008 Volvo S40 2.4i, it could be caused by a few different issues, such as:
  1. Faulty seat control module: The seat control module is responsible for controlling the power seat functions. If it is faulty, the seat controls may not work and the airbag warning message may appear.
  2. Wiring issue: A damaged or corroded wire connection can cause the seat controls to become unresponsive and the airbag warning message to appear.
  3. Sensors issue: The seat and airbag system rely on a variety of sensors to function properly. If any of these sensors are malfunctioning, it can cause the seat controls to become unresponsive and the airbag warning message to appear.
  4. Airbag module: The airbag module is responsible for controlling the airbags in the vehicle. If it is faulty, the airbag warning message will appear.
It's best to have a professional technician diagnose the problem and recommend the appropriate course of action. Sometimes, the problem can be solved by replacing a faulty module, repairing or replacing damaged wiring or sensors, but in some cases the repair may be more complex. It's important to note that the airbag warning light should be taken seriously and repaired as soon as possible, as it can indicate a problem with the airbag system that could affect the safety of the vehicle in case of a collision.

Where would a rke module for a 2010 volvo s80 v6 be located at

The remote keyless entry (RKE) module for a 2010 Volvo S80 V6 is typically located in the trunk of the vehicle, near the spare tire. It is a small module that is responsible for controlling the functions of the remote keyless entry system, such as locking and unlocking the doors, activating the alarm, and starting the engine using the remote. To locate the RKE module, you may need to remove the trim panel or carpeting in the trunk. If you are unable to find the module or are unsure of its location, you may want to consult your owner's manual or a repair manual for your specific model of Volvo S80. Alternatively, you can try contacting a Volvo dealership or a mechanic for assistance.

2006 Volvo S60. Can you add an external fuel pump into the draw fuel in line coming from gas tank?

I answered this a couple of hours ago, you must have deleted it? https://www.fixya.com/users/norbert-64260 The answer is no. The pump has specs for pressure and delivery for that vehicle. The pump is cooled and lubricated by the fuel in the tank. The pump is monitored by the ECM (engine computer) for performance and pressure. Remove the back seat and replace the pump the right way, it is a lot easier.

no engine told at all and is a 100% engine EFI questions. NO VIN told and I tell you what is under the hood, no country told but VIN covers that too. sadly there is only generic answers. guess #1 gasoline , not diesel. engines die for over 50 causes,. we do tests to find them. here is list of many, fuel pump is only 1. no tuneups done for 18 years, a hopeless bit of abuse.??? spark parts, filters all, belts. fluids, etc. cam belt slipped, never serviced for 60 to 100k miles BOOM bad all 3 engines used in USA version have this belt, that must never be ignored, other pistons bend the heave valves over. horror. bad spark, the ECU sees spark dead it cuts fuel, fuel pump be danged. and last is fueling, never first , above is first what I do is check cam timing first not make it worse cranking. . world wide list, 1,984 cc (2.0 L) B5204T5 turbo I5 2,319 cc (2.3 L) B5234T3 turbo I5 2,435 cc (2.4 L) B5244S/S2 I5 2,435 cc (2.4 L) B5244SG I5 (petrol / LPG / CNG) 2,435 cc (2.4 L) B5244T/T3/T5 turbo I5 2,521 cc (2.5 L) B5254T2/T2-R turbo I5 2,435 cc (2.4 L) D5244T turbodiesel I5

One very common issue with these generations of 5 cylinder engines are the PCV system. If you haven't had the service completed yet, I'm sure it need it.

Volvo xc90 2.5t 2004 Stereo system does not turn on in winter when the temperature is low

Here is the diagram for your sound system: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_0u4F1QVD-GOAUKJPPgsYbN5gsf98SoK/view?usp=sharing Im afraid that you are going to have to do some troubleshooting before your can determine what module is at fault. Looking at the diagram, the violet wires should have 12 volts with the key on- if not, then i would focus on the infotainment relay and the Central Electric Module. If you have 12 volts on violet, check the brown wires for a good ground. Violet/White wires should have a constant 12 volts. If you can borrow someone's fancy scan tool, you could scan the system for codes that may be helpful in figuring out what module is at fault. If all of this checks out, i would go for reflowing solder joints in the Infotainment Control Module first and the audio module next
