2008 honda accord 2.4 wont crank but battery is not dead...Please HELP!!

Do the easy things first: Check the cleanliness and tightness of the battery terminals. Also check the cleanliness and tightness of the earth cable - the black cable, both on the battery terminal and where it attaches to the engine block/bodywork. Loosen the clamp bolts on the battery terminals and 'twist' the cable connectors on the terminals to clean them. (bear in mind that if you disconnect the battery you may lose the radio code..). Retighten. A poor earth can cause the problems you describe. The electrical system cannot earth itself and consequently won't crank or is difficult/slow/intermittent to crank. Bear in mind that a completely dead battery / failing battery will still illuminate your dashboard lights. But .. check that black battery lead first ...

Have a Honda Accord 2008 v6 chk engineer light on code iso 9141 meaning?

Trevor, I believe this is not a code, iso 9141 is communication protocol/ communication speed, When the scan tools make a connection to the OBD port it matches the communication speed at which your ECM communicates with the scan tool. If that is all you are seeing for a code and your engine light is on, try a different scan tool. Then whatever is blocking your access with the screw driver has to either be removed or moved out of the way if a longer screw driver does not do the trick..Can be a PIA but what else can you do? Sometimes a relatively easy repair can be a bear for the reason you have stated.

Hello There, I have a 2008 Honda Accord losing power after about 2 hours of drive in an ambient temperature circa 30 degree Celsius. Please could someone share his or her experience?

I'd guess, with only "2 minutes" cooling time the issue is electrical producing enough heat in 2 hours to cause an open circuit. Likely an electronic circuit board kind of problem although similar things happen with switches, relays and connections. Very difficult to "sort". Time to see your dealer. Ask about any recalls. Failure at the wrong moment could be an invitation to disaster! Good luck.

Since moving to Montreal from Calgary I am finding my fuel consumption is much greater. Would this be because o the difference in altitude?

Shouldn't be. Map sensors are supposed to take care of this problem. Have it checked.

Will my fuel consumption increase from 3500ft above sea level to 0ft sea level?

It rather depends on how you drive more than the altitude. At sea level, you have more air available, which means you have more power available. If you use the power, then you will use more fuel. If you stay light on the "go" pedal, you will use less. Last time I was in both cities, Calgary had less traffic, and that may be the reason you're using more fuel in Montreal, not the altitude.

Sound does not come on

If the sound doesn't come on there's obviously something wrong with your radio. I would say just go back to the dealership and tell them what's going on with your radio. 25909576-4wnnsklynlfszhxwvmhvidec-5-0.jpg And don't forget tell them what's going on wiyh your radio!????
