Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. Remote starters are always problematic. Take it back to the installer and they will diagnose the issue electronically with a scan tool computer.

fuse box, I/P instra panel box learn to test all fuses first. if all good scan tool is next. F5DA above, fuse 5 ,digital audio? DA? there like 12 audio option systems sold new on this car, and are complex. the service manual , covers all that. fuses can be tested 2 ways. (besides plug and guess) an ohm meter or continuity buzz box. or a voltmeter. 0 ohms good, infinity bad. 12vdc both sides good (key on) 0vdc one side bad, (key on) blown fuse. next time say if car can be driven. if can get it fixed in a shop. ASE shops are best, stealerships not so. as you can see the problem is power and , is related to failing communications if fuses are in fact good. what stops you from checking fuses first (IDK)

Hi Mike, You mentioned the turn signal switch can cause burning plastic smell from under the hood (12 years ago on a Chevy) I drive a 2005 Acura MDX Touring 4D SUV. Two weeks ago, I noticed a light flickering behind the VTM-4 button. At a stop light, I turned on the left blinker and it wouldn't stop blinking. An hour before, my SUV would not start. When I turned the steering wheel slightly right, the car finally started. I was performing deliveries, so I couldn't take a chance for the car not to start again. Therefore, I just kept the car running to finish my shift. When the blinker would not shut off, I had to end my shift. Once I arrived home, I just parked the car: The left blinker continued to blink. I tried to start the car again and it just clinked along with the blinking left turn signal. The next morning, I attempted to start the car again. After a few unsuccessful attempts, I turned the steering wheel slightly right and it started. However, the left blinker remained on. I tried to start the car once again and only heard clicking. All of a sudden, I smelled a burning plastic smell and a small amount of smoke came from under the hood. I was thinking about pulling the fuse to the turn signal. I've had past challenges with starting the car and the VTM-4 and engine light light on. OBD codes produced a Bay 2 Sensor 2 O2 sensor. In the past, my left fog light got knocked off and the connectors are exposed. Would greatly appreciate your expert advice on what I can do to start this car up and to cancel out the left turn signal. Thank you for your time.

Sorry , no reset for the fuel pump . Reduced engine power message is for the TAC - throttle actuator control system . Electronic throttle control . Reduced Engine Power: Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description for the 3.6L engine or Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description.TAC System Default Actions/Reduce Power Modes There are 2 reduce power modes that the engine control module (ECM) can default to if an error is detected in the throttle actuator control (TAC) system. If an accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor 1 or APP sensor 2 circuit fault, throttle position (TP) sensor 2 circuit fault, or if a TP sensor 1 circuit fault is detected with some APP angle, the ECM goes into one of the 2 reduce power modes. In this mode, the engine torque is limited so that the vehicle cannot reach speeds of more than 100 km/h (60 mph). The ECM remains in this reduce power mode during the entire ignition cycle even if the fault is corrected. If there is a condition with the throttle actuator control circuits, throttle actuator command vs actual position fault, return spring check fault, or a TP sensor 1 circuit fault, the ECM goes into the other reduce engine power mode. In this mode, the engine speed is limited to 2,500 RPM and the 3-6 fuel injectors are randomly turned OFF. At this time the Reduced Power indicator is commanded ON. The ECM remains in the reduce power mode during the entire ignition cycle even if the fault is corrected. Observe, if a TP sensor 1 or throttle actuator control circuit fault is present at the time the vehicle is at idle, with no accelerator pedal angle, the engine may stall.

Does it turn over normal speed or turn slow ?

You most likely have a door senor issue, they must be checked with a scanner that can read the BCM when the problem occurs, checking them without the problem occurring is a waste of time.

Somewhere in the system is a defective sensor, most likely it is one of the door ajar sensors.

Should have a manual release for hatch inside the passenger compartment but I don't know where it is on that model

Not sure USB needs a fuse. there's no such thing, fords have an inertia fuel switch, check your fuel pump relay usually in the fuse box under the hood

Unfortunately your radio is on a can bus network and needs to be scanned and possibly reprogrammed. This can be done by the dealer only, I almost sure. But first, locate the fuse panel and find the radio fuse(s) and remove for 10 minutes, re-insert and see if the radio has come alive...it probably has theft protection by communicating with the other known modules on the car...to ensure it is indeed still in the car it is supposed to be in.....I know...complicated....but all newer cars have systems like this. It makes it extremely difficult for the customer to do any diagnosis without a factory scan tool.

Not sure which light you are referring to but the Traction Control light is in the same area and comes on for a few seconds when you start the car. To see if this is it hit the traction control button by your console and the light should come on

I would check the wheel balance first. Being its a 2013 model you shouldn't be having any serious suspension components going bad. Depending on the mileage.

The firing order for 4.3 Vortec is 165432 dist. rotation is clockwise. the # 1 cylinder is first one on the drivers side
