Hi Paula I see you have a remote control for the alarm on your key or a separate key fob and these are very sensitive to touch and just from having it in your pocket/book or from tossing your keys on the table can depress the trunk button and bingo it opens and you don't know it try to observe the liftgate being aware of holding the key and then putting on a table face up away from the buttons and see what happens a couple of times if it doesn't do it anymore that was it if it does do it check all your fuses if ok next check if your liftgate sensor is shorted out especially when it's rained out or the carwash you could be getting in water from a leak also is this a liftgate that you can close with your foot if so check your license plate bulbs and tail light bulbs some of these sensors take power from those circuits

IFf it doesn't come out when you push eject button normally, knock all power off and hold your finger on eject button as you turn power back keep holding the two together for about 10secs

When you say breaks do you mean front wheels when driving? Or do you mean that when you apply the breaks at fast speeds the car vibrates. If it is the first, then your alignment is most likely off. If it is the second then you could have a caliper sticking or need your rotors resurfaced because they could have warped.

Have engine mounts and axle cv joints checked for wear.

Best to have it reset by a dealer or service agent.

Hello, Sounds like the flap that controls the cold air and hot air duct is not working. One duct pulls air through the heater core where the other duct draw air from the outer vent. If that flap is not working, allowing you to pull from the heater core duct, then either the switch/lever that controls the flap is faulty (more likely) or the flap is stuck (less likely). Hope this helps.

If you 100% sure the fuses are good (check again) then you have connection point problem, and because it is all aux power points it has to be a connection behind/under the fuse box OR a break in a connection or broken wires between fuse box and firewall entrance. You will have to use wire tracing test tool (probe type with light) and test the entire length of the wires you can seen and access to find a break/disconnect.

I had the same issue on my 2013 Edge. Deleted the password expecting it to let me enter a new one. Since the password is unique to vehicle and not able to be deleted I went into the SYNC computer settings and reset to original settings. This takes a minute. The screen goes black. Opening the door or turning key off is not suggested. Resetting the in dash computer(sync) is the fix for deleting the original door key code.

Don't you have any other repair shops in your area. A local independent repair shop an not a chain store type , like pep boys or firestone , monroe muffler an brakes etc..... The switch could be the problem , but without testing that's just a guess . The thing to do would be to use a digital volt meter an test the circuitry into the an out . B+ power and ground .
