Trace the power wire from your battery/alternator. It will lead you to the starter.

The only way to repair a leaking rack and pinion is to replace the rack and pinion with either a new or remanufactured unit. (Nobody sells rebuild kits for them like they used to several years ago.)

sounds like the motor is bad easiest and cheapest way to fix would be to get a complete seat from the Junk yard the seat should come with all the motors and tracks all you have to do is unbolt old seat and bolt down new one only draw back to this is seat might not be same color but there two ways to fix that first u could just get a set of seat covers Or you can take the track and motor off new seat and install them on the old seat

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. You are going to need a code to be able to reset the alarm and start the car. You will need to call your dealership to get the code. You will need your VIN number and possibly other vehicle information. But none the less, this is the problem. For now, you can take out the fuse but your car will still not start.

Hello, it sounds like you have poor quality fuel in your tank. This is very common here in Australia, you need to use premium fuel and change your fuel supplier until you find one that fixes your problem. You need to add Octane Booster not cleaner in your tank, if you have a drain plug on your fuel tank drain in all out, if you do not than syphon out as much as you can, try not to drive it for too long with this problem as it can cause serious damage to your motor.

The sender in the fuel tank could have failed or become disconnected. Its a fairly standard fix, more or less any reputable mechanic will be able to repair/replace it for you.

It would help if you provided some type of code, and its something wrong in the engine

your problem might be an ECM, but before i would condemn the ECM i would have the IAC and throttle body cleaned, the problem you describe sounds like there is carbon around the throttle plate that is restricting the minimum air passage that would explain why you have to push the gas pedal in order to start the car, as far as replacing the ECM if this is the only problem then i would ride it out until it gets worse, you could get a used ECM but it would have to be programed with your cars vin # in order to work. good luck
