How to remove/install the power

Hello Dave.
On the pump there is a bracket with an adjuster on it.
First you must loosen the bolt designed to tighten the bracket from slipping after the adjustment is set and the pump pivot on the opposite side.
Then the long adjuster bolt must be loosened to allow the pump to swing.
A little bit of light oil on the threads will aid turning them.
On the diagram below look at the top left to see the brackets.
I apologize for the size of it, we are limited here.

2000 infiniti,

P0138 is the oxygen sensor and could have been damaged by the excess oil that was being blown past the valves. P0325 is a knock sensor that could also have been damaged by Excess oil in the motor. The main concern I would have at this point is how long did he drive it that way and did he damage the seals in the engine. He could have blown a head gasket and most any seal on the motor with that much oil in it. Check for water in the oil and oil in the radiator. If either condition exist you have blown the inner seals and will need to rebuild the motor. You may see leakage around the valve cover as a result of this as well. The valve cover seal is pretty easy to replace so if you have a leak there replace it. You may need to replace the breather valve on the Valve cover or the Filter patch that is usually located in the same box as the Air filter. If oil is found in any of these they should be replaced.

I have a 2000 infiniti

Good Evening, It sure does sound like an alternator issue you should be charging well over 13 almost 14volts depending on the condition of your battery and the load you have running on it. You are on the right path and did all the right things to come up with your solution. Another thing to do is to still get it checked once you get it off and get your battery checked to be sure you do not have a bad cell or anything. Your local autozone and advance auto parts stores do these things free of charge. Hope this helps.

Car doesnt start. Doesnt click

hi, i would recommend that you check the starter first if the vehicle doesn't cranck over, try hitting it with a hamer and try to start it, you can also remove it and take it to an auto part store and they can test it for you, make sure you unplug the battery first to avoid sparks and circuit shorts, also be aware of the way the wiring is so you can put it back the way it goes...
