Possible Water Pump Issue
The coolant system is pretty straight forward. Start with the least expensive and work your way up. Overheating is normally caused by 1. stuck or non functioning thermostat
2. leaking hose or hoses
3. marginal or non functioning water pump
4. clogged or bad radiator.
Heater blower not working
Check your battery, charging system, and fuses. It sound like a weak battery. If the battery is weak, it could be that the battery is bad or the alternator is not charging the battery. Check the voltage on the battery while the car is running, if it is more than 12 volts (more like 14) then your alternator should be OK. If not, the alternator will need replacing. Next, have the battery load tested, if it fails the test, replacing the battery will probably fix the problem. You may be able to fix this yourself. I hope this helps.
