It's probably an anti theft lockout device that disables the ignition and /or starter. I would say there's no way to reset it without going through a dealer. If you have a key fob that unlocks the doors electronically you might try using that. Or try locking the open door then closing it and unlocking it again then getting in and trying to start it. Try all kinds of combos but I'll tell you...replacing batteries, fuel pumps, things like that will just be a waste of money. Try all those little combinations of locking and unlocking the car, if none work...call an Infiniti dealer. I know it stinks but with a car stolen every few seconds it's really for your protection. Since you know so much, you would also know how to bleed the brakes. The brakes need to be bled and the pressure on the brake shoes/pads released so that they get loosened and removed form the drums. All four wheels have to be bled.

Hi! You will need to take the front grill off and side clearance lamps to gain access to the bolts of the headlight. The bolt size will be 10mm. so you will need a 10mm. socket. The side lamps may need to slide forward to be detached on the headlights. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

did you have the computer reset after the work????

if you pull on battery cables and they are tight and clean its sounds like a bad starter motor the altenator would cause the bangging effect you descrbed to make any difference on the starter

For 1999 Infinity QX4 the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is incorporated in distributor !
1. Ensure ignition switched "OFF".
2. Remove distributor cap.
3. Remove distributor.
4. Do not disconnect multi-plug. Access distributor multi-plug terminals.
5. Rotate distributor shaft.
6. Check voltage between multi-plug terminals and earth as follows:
B & earth ~ Ignition "ON" ~ 5 Volts (fluctuating)
C & earth ~ Ignition "ON" ~ 5 Volts (fluctuating)

It is located between the fuel source and the engine, along the fuel rail

To locate the fuel pressure regulator, follow the fuel rail around your engine. The fuel rail is the pipe that carries the fuel to all the injectors and the cold start valve.

The washer system can do the cleaning for you. Simply turn on the switch. The component responsible for the efficiency of your Infiniti's windshield wiper system is the washer pump. Whenever the washer system is activated, the washer pump automatically pumps out the cleaning fluid to the windshield.

However, the washer pump is usually not given that much attention by some vehicle owners. Maintenance of this pump is important to keep it pumping effectively. A busted washer pump can add to the burden in cleaning your Infiniti. So, to help you out in your cleaning duties, acquire a more improved Infiniti washer pump.

Generally, the hose goes to the pump, and the pick up tube is in the washer fluid tank. The fuse would be an accessory fuse, maybe can be failed or open; but, the two systems (front and back windshield washer work with the same pump) I don't think that have independent pumps for even one system. Check obstructions or choking.

Yes it may i do not think it is due to that purge volume control valve, But an faulty absolute pressure sensor will surely cause this to happen.

i can not find an online version of this and do not have an online manual but if you check your local library they have every manual you need

Additionally the problem may be related to defective Throttle position sensor.

Try testing TPS first, then if TPS is not the problem, the transmission shift solenoids located in the gear box must be tested using a multimeter.

The blower is controlled by an electronic device located under the dash called an air conditioiner relay. You most likely have one that is on it's last legs, which explains the sporadic action.

If you have an auto zone near by drive there and tell them you need a new A/C relay. They will generally not only sell you one but even install it. All it requires is to unplug the old one and plug in the new one.

Periodicaly stalls or wont start after driving for awhile
