I don't know if this could help you or not but I have a 2004 Infiniti G35 sedan and my brakes lights went out and I couldn't figure it out and I'll be damned if it wasn't in the wiring harness that comes down when the trunk closes there's a little one to the right there and I don't have a 2004 but don't count that one out you have to split it and you'll see that the wires somehow just got dry and cut from the sleeve and I just rewired it boom back together and it runs and it stops with brakes lights anyways good luck.

Hate to say it, but, you may want to have it professionally diagnosed. Sometimes when you have a lot of issue occur like this at one, it could be a BCM (Body Control Module). Looking for one at a salvage yard can be very difficult due to the variations of BCM's among vehicles even of the same model.

remove wheel, unbolt steering track rod,unbolt the ball joints ,you will need some sort of joint splitter ,this is a metal forked wedge that you hammer between the joint and chassis when replacing new joint you will need to use a jack under new joint to apply some pressure so that when you tighten the nut then ball joint does'nt spin round and not tighten,make sure you know the torque for the nuts as over tightening can cause joint to fail in some way this is important to get right
