How do I completely shut off the pats anti theft system to be able to start myg 2002 Ford f150 with out my key
U can't , software programmed into the computers . You would need to have computer re manufacturer delete pats an reprogram PCM - IPC - which ever control modules control the anti-theft system . Because if the PCM - engine computer does not see a coded message from the PATS module IPC - instrument cluster etc.. it won't engage the starter an or fuel injectors . It would cost less to have it fixed right by a qualified repair shop. or mobile lock smith .

You can't find the problem because you going about all wrong . The service engine soon light an the an the light at the end of your shifter are trying to tell you there are DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in the electronic modules for the engine an transmission . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop . You don't have the diagnostic tool's or the knowledge to fix these problems , Sorry but you'll only make it worst .
How do you change out the plugs with coil pack and boots on a 2002 F150 5.4 triton
Disconnect battery. unplug coils, remove one bolt on top of each coil and pull coil up and out of the way. using a swivel, 3/8" drive ratchet, extension and socket, and proper spark plug socket remove the spark plugs. Make certain to use anti-seize on the threads of the new spark plugs. install new plugs and reinstall coils or replace them if you want. you can carefully unplug and unbolt the PCM from the upper right area of the engine to make it easier to get to the right plugs. H1 CHECK THE DEACTIVATOR SWITCH CIRCUITRY
Speed Control Servo C122
Measure the voltage between the speed control servo C122 pin 9, circuit 307 (BK/YE), harness side and the speed control servo C122 pin 10, circuit 57 (BK), harness side.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes INSTALL a new speed control servo. REFER to Speed Control Servo in this section. REPEAT the self-test.
No GO to H2 .
H2 CHECK DEACTIVATOR SWITCH POWER
Deactivator Switch C1025
Measure the voltage between the deactivator switch C1025, circuit 10 (LG/RD), harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes GO to H3 .
No REPAIR the circuit. REPEAT the self-test.
H3 CHECK CIRCUIT 307 (BK/YE) FOR AN OPEN
Measure the resistance between the speed control servo C122 pin 9, circuit 307 (BK/YE), harness side and the deactivator switch C1025, circuit 307 (BK/YE), harness side.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes INSTALL a new deactivator switch. REFER to Speed Control Deactivator Switch in this section. REPEAT the self-test.
No REPAIR the circuit. REPEAT the self-test.
