2011 Chevrolet Aveo - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Do you have a procedure to replace the head gasket on a 2011 Chevy Aveo with a single overhead cam
No offence intended but when you need to ask that sort of question you probably aren't competent enough or experienced enough to tackle the job or make the required decisions - whether or not machining is needed, whether things are clean enough, etc...
Replacing a head gasket is rarely straightforward, is never a quick process if done correctly and needs a high degree of skill and experience for the finished job to be long lasting and reliable.
There is hardly scope to list the procedure here and much of the process is largely intuitive based on experience - something that is better demonstrated and difficult to write.
2011 chevy aveo will not start, seemed sluggish driving home tonite, clicling noise when trying to start and MIL came on after i shut car off and tried to re start
The MIL is normally lit when the key is in on, and with the engine not started, so that doesn't seem a problem.Put a voltmeter on the battery terminals to check the state of your battery. It should read at least 12.2 volts, 12.6 volts or better ideally, but if less than 12.0 volts it may not be strong enough to start the engine. You will need to charge up the battery in that case. The clicking noise is usually from a weak battery, or a bad cable or terminal connection, or the starter motor is at fault. Before you can check if there is a problem with the engine running, is being "sluggish", you will first have to get it running. If your battery is good and well charged, double check your battery connections and grounds. If you get it running, the MIL should go out. If it stays lit, there is a trouble code stored, which should indicate the problem, or at least where to start looking. Good luck. If you don't have a voltmeter, maybe a friend has one. The digital multimeter used on cars are very reasonably priced.
CHEVROLET AVEO battery not charging
Most likely a bad alternator. You can take it to O'Reily's. Autozone, Advance, or any major auto parts store and they will check it for no cost.

Output speed sensor faulty either gearbox speed sensor or abs sensor on drive shafts or I believe on some models it on the differential housing? Hope that helps
The ignition key in my 2011 chevy aveo will not
Dale, the problem could be in your Starter Motor. It may be loose, which would cause the problem to only happen sometimes. Check all the bolts holding it on, and if it happens again, I'd suggest getting an Auto Electrician to check it out. Hope this helps.
Had 2011 Aveo for 2
I would take it back to a Chevrolet dealer. It should still be under factory warranty.
