I HAVE A 2010 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE LT.WITH ELETRICAL PROBLEMS WITH DASHBOARD LIGHTS GOING DIM ,WINDOW SWITCH NOT WORKING ON DRIVERSIDE, BACKUP PARKING BEEPER,AND RADIO NOT WORKING .

Having same issue and what I have found is that it's more than likely the harness between door if you have corrosion on the male pins get electrical cleaner and spray it but Lord knows don't do what I did and try to rub it off cuz it ended up breaking the pins and then I had to go to the junkyard and butcher another harness out so I can get the pins out of it and try to replace in mine and it's such a tight spot you'd have to take the e-brake and everything out and pull the carpet back and then I don't know if you could still get to it good enough I took an angle grinder and cut right there where the harness was and pulled the metal back so I can get the harness to come out that way and still it was tight working area but I'm still having an issue I got some stuff to start working again but still can't get my window to go up and down and I'm pretty sure I have a broken wire in the female side of the harness on the door part I wish you the best of luck if you find out anything else message me back and let me know what you find out but I do know this if you take your door switch out the black wire and the blue wire they're diagonally across from each other on the little the plug that goes into the window switch you can jump it with a hot and ground and either get it to roll up or cross it back and put the ground with the hot and Hot with the ground and it'll roll it down they just crossed from each other when hot is negative and negative is hot it'll go up and when negative is Hot and Hot is negative it'll go down it's freaking confusing what it is but I figured out how to get my window up and down for the meantime if anything I'm going to use toggle switch cuz that wiring just above my pay grade

How can I test my Ac compressor and fans on 2010 Traverse?

Check your fuse and fuse links for fan or fans at radiator. Had same problem with my Caravan turned out to be fan motor on mine. A quick fix if its not the motor is to run two wire in the cab area and connect to wire for fan under hood and a power source. Place a 30 amp fuse in line some place easy to access and on inside of cab install toggle switch. When ever vehicle sitting still flip switch to keep it from over heating. Vehicle over heats when there is no air moving through radiator. Not sure why compressor clutch wont engage when it over heats but once you fix the fans problem will be solved. Hope that helps. Oh, in case you're wondering it cost me about $100 for new fan, fuse link and box of fuses. Took half a day to repair

How do you diagnose a bad power window?

Some state-of-the-art high-end cars have frameless windows that automatically rotate a quarter of an inch when the door is opened. It happens so fast that you probably won't even notice. The window opened quickly, and the seal was removed before the latch could be opened. It closes automatically about a second after closing the door

I have a 2010 chevy traverse the traction control turned off and now my traverse wont start

Do you know anything about modern automobiles , Computer controlled systems ( electronics ) ? Do you know happens when you turn the key to start ? Not like the old days -turn the key to start an battery voltage goes to an through the park neutral safety switch to the S terminal on the starter solenoid . Now this is what happens Circuit Description (Key Start) When the ignition switch is placed in the Start position, a discrete signal is supplied to the body control module (BCM) notifying it that the ignition is in the Start position. The BCM then sends a message to the engine control module (ECM) notifying it that CRANK has been requested. The ECM verifies that the transmission is in Park or Neutral. If it is, the ECM then supplies 12 volts to the control circuit of the crank relay. When this occurs, battery positive voltage is supplied through the switch side of the crank relay to the S terminal of the starter solenoid. Do you know how the BCM sends a message to the ECM ? Do you know what a serial data bus is ? Circuit Description The communication among control modules is performed primarily through the GMLAN high speed serial data circuit and the GMLAN low speed serial data circuits. The modules that need real time communication are attached to the high speed GMLAN network. The body control module (BCM) is the serial data gateway between the networks. The purpose of the gateway is to translate serial data messages between the GMLAN high speed buss and the GMLAN low speed buss. The controller area network (CAN) is another serial data communication network used on this vehicle which is dedicated to the electronic brake control module (EBCM) subsystem for stabilization. Below are more detailed descriptions of the individual networks. The gateway will interact with each network according to that network's transmission protocol. Refer to Body Control System Description and Operation for more information about the gateway. Hooking up a professional scan tool that will check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in all the modules in the vehicle is how to start diagnostic's on your type vehicle .

Headlight bulb chevy traverse life

As I also had the dealer tell me it would be $120 - $150 to change I looked into it further. If you will remove the screws from the protective cover under the fender (just a few you do not need to remove the full fender cover). You can access the bulb. You will need to turn the housing and remove the bulb. Be sure to not touch the bulb as oil from your fingers will make certain you will be changing the bulb in a short time. Also I would use the standard bulb as the brighter bulbs run hotter and burned out very fast (2-3 months). If you turn the wheel your access to the bulb is easier. It is tight but by changing the bulb yourself you are saving a lot of money.

2010 Chevy Traverse and both L/B headlights went out. Fuses and bulbs are good so what could the problem be?

https://www.autogenius.info/chevrolet-traverse-2010-fuse-box-diagram/ Did you also check the LB headlight relay. If LB and HB relays are the same you might want to switch them to see if Low Beam will start working. fuse box diagram in link above.

2010 chevy traverse,I can't put any passenger windows down from driver panel. They go down easy from their own panel, but you have to repeatedly pull button up before they go up.

You may have bad switches or dirty connection on those switches on the driver side. You may also have a bad ground in that control panel.

My 2010 chevy traverse right front window doesn't work, just makes buzzing noise from the switch, what causes this

Window is stuck and the noise is probably the window motor slipping on the drive gear. This will happen a lot with windows that are not used often or have dirt embedded in the channels, and exercising them once in a while is a good idea. You should take it a shop to have it fixed. You can try opening the door and, with hand on each side of the window, try pushing down while pressing the down button to get it working. But be warned - if there is a mechanical problem, it may stick again in an open position and you may not be able to get it up.
