2010 dodge charger 5.7L alternator not charging, looking for diagnostiocs
My alternator went bad giving off a bad oder. Replaced the alternator and still diden't charge.
When the alternator went bad at also took out the PTU. I had to replace that also and had to get it programed. cost a little over 1,000 for a 2010 Dodge Charger R/T. This seams to be a problem with all Crysler products.

Need location of cabin air filter on a 2010 F150
your vehicle does not have a cabin air filter (also known as a pollen or AC filter). Vehicles without cabin air filters typically have a plastic mesh that prevents leaves and other foreign objects from entering the HVAC system. This mesh is part of the vehicle and does not need to be changed

Trunk wont release with button on dash or using key fob
Hi, I believe this may be a fuse problem. The owners manual will show you the fuse box or boxes locations and what each fuse powers. If it is a blown fuse it may be that something in the trunk pinched the wire and shorted it. The wires as they run from the body to the trunk lid is a good place to check for a pinched wire or short. The unlock solenoid may be the culprit if it shorted out, just a possibility. If a fuse is blown, replace it then check to see if the brake light works. If so then try opening the trunk electronically, if the fuse blows again then you know that circuit is the problem. Good Luck, Jim

Compressions for 3.5 engine
Compression should usually run between 130-175 psi. The main thing is that there is no more than 25% difference in readings between all cylinders.
