transmission shouldn't have a dip stick. its a dealer only component and voids any warranty if you add any fluid to it yourself.

HI, Vehicle had no heat and was overheating, so we had the heater core flushed - twice. Didn't help. We changed the heater core and thermostat. Now vehicle is still overheating. What else do we check?

You first make sure that the cooling system is completely bled/purged of any trapped air, that can cause both symptoms, it that is done and you are sure you have purged all the air out then the head gasket would be most likely leaking.

Yes trying to find out where is the WCM is located on a 2011 dodge Nitro

Where the key goes in. If dash mounted you will have to pull the dash cover to access it. If it needs replaced it needs to go to a dealer for programming.

Giant pain in the but, I'm a chrysler tech and they are not fun, if you take the air filter box out it's doable but not easy, best bet is to remove the coolant and washer bottles and th fan shroud....also not easy to do

I Have A 2011 Dodge Nitro An the check engine

Your check engine light flashing means that the on-board computer has detected a problem, as a result there is now a Check Engine Light (CEL) code which you can have retrieved using a code scanner. Many auto parts stores will come out to your car and retrieve the code for you for free. Call around and find a parts store to do this, or obviously any mechanic with an OBD-II scanner can do the same thing. Once you have the exact code we can help more.

Check engine light

Some car parts places like AutoZone will plug in a diagnostic tool called an ODB2 and can tell you the error code.then 'maybe' they will tell you what that means. and if you get a nice person they will reset it although they are not supposed to.Any rate then google the diagnostic code for solutions.

TPMS light on continually. I have the owners

The first thing is to replace the batteries as 2 years is good. Most batteries operating 24/7 will be good for maybe a year. You may have to use a code reader to reset the receiver

Nitro. Why doesn't it upshift?

If your vehicle with a Nitro engine is not upshifting and you're getting a P0750 code, it indicates that there is a problem with the shift solenoid "A". This solenoid is responsible for controlling the hydraulic pressure inside the transmission that helps to activate the clutches and bands that are responsible for shifting gears. There are a few reasons why the shift solenoid "A" may not be functioning properly, which could lead to the transmission not upshifting. These reasons include:
  1. Malfunctioning Shift Solenoid "A": The shift solenoid "A" could be faulty, stuck, or damaged, preventing it from functioning properly.
  2. Wiring Issues: There could be issues with the wiring or connections leading to the shift solenoid "A," which could cause it to malfunction.
  3. Low Transmission Fluid: If the transmission fluid is low or dirty, it could prevent the shift solenoid "A" from functioning properly, causing the transmission to not upshift.
  4. Internal Transmission Problems: There could be internal problems within the transmission, such as a clogged valve body, damaged transmission bands, or worn clutches, which could cause the shift solenoid "A" to malfunction.
It is recommended to take your vehicle to a certified mechanic or dealership to diagnose and repair the issue, as transmission issues can be complex and require specialized knowledge and equipment to fix properly.
