I'm having the same issue on my 2010 Edge. Coincidently, the lights on the steering wheel controls are out, too. I checked both "Instrument Panel Cluster" fuses (fuse slot numbers 26 and 29), and both are still good. Either there is another fuse, or the bulbs are simply burned out.

Try pairing a different phone with the system and see if the problem still exists. This could be a phone issue. The Edge Sync system uses the phone for commands. It totally depends on the phone to process all requests.

If you tried a different phone with no results log into www.syncmyride.com and check to see if you have the latest software level for your Edge.

It is hard to give you a correct answer without self testing the vehicle for fault codes. My guess would be a problem with the electronic throttle body that should be covered under the extended emission warranty I believe it is 5 years 50,000.

You could remove the burnt one & read what it is !!

Try the horn fuse in the fuse box. Check the owners manual for instructions on where to look for it. There will be a metal U in the fuse... if it is broken in half and looks like there is black charing in the plastic, replace it. If the fuse is ok, take that bad boy to the dealership because it is a 2010 and most certainly has a warranty.
