Wiper washers
try to blow air into the washer hoses see if maybe there is a clog. why did you replace the wiper motor if it is only the fluid not working or I maybe reading it wrong . if the blades are working and the pump is pumping fluid then I would bet to say the hoses are clogged good luck
Rear window defroster not working
Check obvious things first, fuses. Pull out your manual and look for locations. Second, there should be 2 wires going to the grid on the rear window defroster. Make certain they are still plugged in and the tabs have not been broken off, frequently happens at car washes when washing rear window. Third, take a close look at the grid of wire on the glass, looking for scratches. If scratched, you may be able to repair with a rear window defogger kit from your local auto store
Ignition off,running lights come on
It sounds like the common problem that the driver door switch sensor is defective and the car thinks the door is open all the time. Repeated closing the doors usually turns off the indicator and everything works fine. There is an entire driver door module for the latch and sensor that has to be replaced if this is the case.
Rear tail gate opens then closes again by it self
obviously a problem with the auto mechanism , is there a sensor located , see your owners manual, in a particular area that has to bee kept clear and you may have inadvertantly placed something over the sensor , just guess as something must be telling the tailgate to shut , with the age of vehicle is it still covered under makers warrenty ? i'll look into the sensor thing
Location on door ajar switch for 2011 ford edge?
As specified above it is inside the door attached to the "Door Module". You have to take off the plastic panel with trim facing the inside first. Then you see the door module. You have to remove the outer door handle, the latch screws, the window saddle clamp screws (and tape the window closed, remove the module screws and carefully maneuver it all out. The latch unit comes out with the door module. It is truly not meant to be a serviceable part. It is closed with steel pins with the head flattened that would have to be ground/cut off to get in to it.
Considering the possibility of damage I would have a replacement on on hand before I tried to just repair it.
I know all this because I just went through taking it off only to realize it is not easily serviceable and am ordering the latch module now.
