2010 Mitsubishi Outlander - Page 7 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I use my cigarette lighter
Hi!!
On the relay box look for the Acc. Socket fuses
#23 -10A and
#25 - 15A. To fix the socket, remove the Center Lower Panel using a flat tool or a butter knive to make the clips on each corner pop out, the socket can be re-tightened, they usually do not get damaged. once fixed, snap the
Center Lower Panel back into the dashboard.
Check the following diagram.

What part is required to
this code refers to the throttle position sensor. most likely it is a faulty tps sensor. i have replaced a few of these on mitsubishi,s the code refers to low voltage input meaning the computer is seeing to low a signal from the sensor. to replace look on opposite side of throttle shaft from where throttle cable is hooked up will be a sensor held on by two screws.

I noted an oil leak
The play in the turbo is why you have the leak with out rebuild shop tools all you can do is change the turbo (if a lot of oil gets into inlet
system engine can run away and will not stop ((English mechanics
call this drinking its own blood)))

Mit Outlander 2003....replaced the head
P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction\
Based on the codes you listed I would have to say it appears the Crank Position sensor is either malfunctioning or you accidentally caught the wires between two parts that were bolted together and they shorted out. Double check the Crank Position sensor wiring and make sure you have them connected correctly and don't have a short on any of the wires.

You more than likely have air in the system.Grab another person if you know how to bleed the slave cyl,but only for a hydraulic clutch. If it is a cable clutch, adjust the cable.

Mitsubish pinin - all lights
Possible that the dashboard cluster ground is faulty and the reason why all the lights of the dash are on. the dash is normally triggered bythe park lamp switch and so ther must the + 12 coming tothe lamps on switch on.

I keep getting engine noise
Try getting some additives to clean your lifters...i think they are called lifter free..a nulon product ..change oil and filter and then try it or get new lifters installed and adjusted.Blocked lifters will make a sound like that and it's pretty common with mitshubishi. Also check if your idler bearings are ok.

I have Mitsubishi outlander 2003
Your problem is probably something pretty basic (like an oxygen sensor). If you go to the local auto store they will usually plug into your car with a code reader and tell you what you need to replace . At that time they can also turn off the service engine check light (if something is wrong chances are it will come right back on). Auto stores will diagnose your car for free to get you to buy the repair parts to fix your car from them. So go to your go to the auto store and let the car tell you what it needs and show your patronage by getting your parts there.

Hi,
This is a interference engine and you probably have engine damage.
What i do in a situation like this, is i replace the timing belt and do a compression test, i have been lucky on more than one account .
Other wise be prepared for bent valves and dented piston heads
Kind regards Indy .

I needed a 5 groove
Good Evening, that is a relatively good question which not many people would think to ask. What that will do over time, rather quickly than not is wear the last rib off of the belt wearing it out a little faster starting on the area the rib was run off of. Other than that it will simply ride in the 4 ribs on the replaced pulley and the 4 ribs of the other pulleys. Hope this shed some light for you and helped.

there will always be a certain amount of metal in a gearbox(hopefully on the bottom out of the way)drain and refill with new oil.as long as its not whining or some other noise that sounds expensive you should not worry.

Diesel engine
It sounds like the plugs are bad or not heating correctly. Running it out of petrol can mess them up like that sometimes.

"Set" light when you're up to speed in Cruise control
I believe you mean stays lit; yes I have the same problem, when I start the vehicle, the cruise control is always on even though I haven't been using it. Sorry I don't know the answer but I can commiserate with you.
