Replacing valve seals
- So my first question is why do you have " replacing valve seals " as your question? Did some tell you that was what was wrong? 38K miles is nothing, the car should just now be broken in. The first thing I would suggest since I am not thee and I do not know all the details I am going to assume you may have just had the car serviced recently. I would let the auto sit on a level surface overnight then in the morning DO NOT start the engine but check the engine oil level and see if it has been over filled. If so do not start the car but get a drain pan and drain out the excess oil. I would also hope that it is still under warranty so you wouldn't have to spend the money or time. The other more common Blue smoke problems would be if the vehicle was ran very low on oil and the cylinders and rings were scored in which case that would be a rebuild job. Don't get me wrong it is possible for the valve seals to be leaking letting oil run into the engine but again unless there is a service letter or a recall unlikely at these miles. It is also possible that someone ran the engine with too heavy or too light weight of oil . Under speculation you could even have had a prankster pour some oil or transmission fluid in your gas tank. Maybe I hit one of the possibilities and maybe not. If you do have to replace the valve seals you have quite a bit of work ahead of you and it sucks that it happened with so few miles on the engine. I am at 288K miles on my truck and just now getting a little smoke and that is only because my wife had been driving it for several months and ran it out of oil to the point that the engine started to seize and she barely made it home. Needless to say when I found out what had happened and she had been driving it with the gauge flashing and warning her no oil pressure. I just waited till the next day and took my sons truck to the parts store and picked up my favorite brand of synthetic oil filled the engine with 5 quarts and started it up. Drove it around some mumbling under my breath because I was shooting for 500K but she nixed that. 8 months later engine still running smooth just using some oil on start up and a little while driving but it could have been a lot worse. Good Luck and let me know the out come.
2002 Nissan Frontier showing a P01444 code
P1444 EVAP Canister Purge Volume Control Solenoid Valve
This system controls flow rate of fuel vapor from the EVAP canister. The opening of the vapor by-pass passage in the EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve changes to control the flow rate. The EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve repeats ON/OFF operation according to the signal sent from the ECM. The opening of the valve varies for optimum engine control. The optimum value stored in the ECM is determined by considering various engine conditions. When the engine is operating, the flow rate of fuel vapor from the EVAP canister is regulated as the air flow changes.
Burning Oil
This engine may not be on time. When timing belt was replaced maybe they didn't installed correctly and now is not synchronized (is not on time) this is the main reason engines experience misfire after replacing timing belts. If you take valve cover out and notice antifreeze in there, you have a blown head gasket.
Belt for water pump and altneator keeps braking
you may be either tightening the belt to much causing it to break, or one of your pullys are stuck. With the belt off, try and turn every pully you see. All but the crankshaft pully should spin freely with no problem. also with your belt off, start your car to see if your crank pully is spinning.

dealer service can tell you for these newer models..
Parking brake will not release
get at rear of vehicle and pull, shake. push on the cables that go into the rear brakes, not the hydrolic brake lines, but the bigger cable.. this should free up the brakes, if not try some warm water or hairdryer.
2007 frontier, won't start following transmission failure
run fault codes and look for a TCM failure. Most vehicles have an oil cooler for the transmission in the radiator and it is known that the cooler develops leaks and the coolant gets into the transmission oil or the oil gets into the coolant. This problem is for all makes and is not ford only. The solution is to fit air to air aftermarket oil coolers
Engine rough idle
