This tip outlines the procedure to restore one touch control to the electric windows on your Acura following the disconnection of your car battery.<br />
<br />
If you have disconnected the battery for any reason on your Acura you will find that the one touch control feature on your electric windows no longer operates.<br /><br />You can resolve this by following this very simple procedure to reset the one touch control feature and get it operating again thereby saving you a trip to the dealer!<br /><br />1) Start the engine and then push down on the drivers window switch until the window is fully open.<br /><br />2) Pull up the drivers window switch until the window closes fully but keep holding the switch for at least 2 seconds after it closes.<br /><br />3) Auto function should now be restored. Lower and raise the window to check the one touch control.<br /><br />Hope this tip has helped. Please do leave a vote for it. Many thanks.
Can I drive my 2001 Acura CL with the CD changer out?
Sure you can drive it. Only problem is the radio may have a security code if you pull the fuze you'll need the code...it should come w/ the owners manual....
if not then you gotta take out the deck and there should be a serial number behind the deck which will tell you the code for the deck.
Or the dealer can help with the vin and a ID that you own the car.
Best to you.

The engine spinning but not starting is commonly a 'No spark' issue but if you can get it to run some of the time it could be a faulty sensor. Do you have any warning lights on the dash? It could be worth you getting it scanned with an OBD2 scanner to look for trouble codes. These give clues to any faulty sensors. If you have to pay for this service ask at 4 or 5 places as prices can be VERY different.
Why do you need access to the fuses under the stereo? These are not normally a common set of fuses that cause issues. The fuse panels most commonly used in an MDX are under the hood, left side trim panel (nearest the door hinge) in the driver's footwell and in the left side trim panel in the truck.
