If you are getting 6v at your speakers, you have serious problems with your deck. Also, speakers don't share the common ground (chassis) with the vehicle. They need to be directly wired to the deck, which means you shouldn't test the output of the speaker wires using the chassis as a ground point. If you did this you may have already damaged the deck.

May be a diode in the alternator going bad as that can cause a whining in your radio.

probably shorted out the deck but try different deck if that works then your old deck is shot but i have had amps do the same thing and i just changed the ground on it and they still work fine

Power out? Check your alternator fuse. In fact, check all your fuses. If no injector pulse, swap out the crank angle sensor.
