If the relay is bad, It couldn't have been recharged. You need a set of gauges at minimum to diagnose the A/C system. High and low pressure. After the pressure test come the electrical part of it.

Is there spark at the spark plug? You may have an ignition module going bad too.

can't do this over the internet since we can't wash down the engine with degreaser, put a uv dye in the oil, etc...

have the fault codes read as it is obvious that the mechanic did not do that. find the faulty sensors and go from there.

U MIGHT NEED TO DRIVE THE CAR FOR SOME TIME FIRST. IF THE PROBLEM PERSISTS TAKE OUT THE KEY - LOCK THE CAR AND TAKE OUT THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL OFF THE BATERRY.LEAVE IT OUT FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES AND PUT IT BACK.TEST DRIVE AGAIN AND CHECK.LET ME KNOW IF U NEED MORE HELP.

Engine management light.sometimes it will reset itself when you identified the problem.sometimes it will go into limp mode as well.so if it still drives normally get it to a garage who can run a quick OD11 ecu test to see what error codes are stored on ecu of car.it may be simple reset required if you addressed the overheating issue.

I know some German cars have a "feature" where if you pull the light switch out the whole way, it activates the built in fog lights. I believe in Germany, this is a law, that cars must have this feature. I also believe that if you have this pulled out the whole way, regardless of key position, the lights stay on always. Try ensuring that the light switch is pushed in as much as can be done. Hope this helps.
