Only way I know is to go to the BMW dealership and they can update It.

Try to take off your pos pole on battand wait 10min, replace and try again.

Check to see if one or more of your tires are low on air. You should be able to read the Manufacture's recommended tire pressure on the driver side door well sticker. If the sticker isn't there, then you can check the sidewalls of your tire. Fill your tires and the light should go out. The sensors inside the tires do tend to go bad after a period of time. So if your tires are properly inflated, then you might have a faulty sensor inside one of your tires.

The Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always check fuel pressure for correct spec for your make and engine type.

P0302 - misfire on #2 cylinder . Could be a bad spark plug , spark plug wire , or a bad ingintion coil , a bad fuel injector etc.... There are videos on youtube that could help you sort this out .

Check the air outlet temperatures at the vents. If they are very low, your cabin air filter might be plugged/dirty. Has any work been done on the compressor lately? dirt in the system can cause the expansion valve to malfunction.

Hi Steve. It is an inline 6 cylinder designated as the M54 2.5liter.

There was more than one engine available for that car. You will need a copy of the original registration document. You could also look for the engine code on the engine block. But the paperwork (V5 in the UK, Pink slip in the USA), is the easiest way to do it.
