2010 buick enclave...need to know location of camshaft position sensor
I think some people (myself included) are confused between camshaft and crankshaft position sensors. I believe their are 4 camshaft position sensors in 2 banks, I’d like to know all these locations as I have p0014 and p0021 corresponding to both banks of CAM shaft sensors. Where are these locations please? I have 2009 Enclave also.
No defrost
Did you preform recalibration after replacement ? See if this works ,if not you'll need to take it to the dealer an have it done with factory scan tool .
Alternate Method (w/o Scan Tool)
- Clear all DTCs.
- Place the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Install the HVAC actuator.
- Connect all previously disconnected components.
- Remove the HVAC/ECAS fuse for a minimum of 10 seconds.
- Install the HVAC/ECAS fuse.
- Start the vehicle.
- Wait 40 seconds for the HVAC control module to self-calibrate.
- Verify that no DTCs have set as current DTCs.
Car is overheating
Rust in the radiator, fan motor not coming on, stuck thermostat. Check all these places and you'll find the reason for overheating.
My 2010 buick enclave wont move out of park
Is there a button to one side of the shifter that you need to press first?
I have seen a button poking out the side of the top bar that needs to be pressed before the shift lever can be operated from Park.
Why do my dome lights not come on when door is open?
The dome light is on a separate fuse since the dome light is one of the few lights that are connected to the battery even if the key is off.
There are usually two relay/fuse boxes
One under the hood on the drivers side near the firewall.
The other place is under the dash to the left of the drivers knee.
Hope this helps.
