Drip from where? If water is getting to your floorboard, and if you've ruled out a stopped up air conditioner drain, then it has to be coming in from either the firewall or the underside of the vehicle - especially if you're sure it only happens when it rains.

Replace the door lock actuator .or test the electrical circuit . Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuit's ? If not , suggest you take it to a qualified repair shop.

You problem requires voltage and ground checks and an enhanced scantool for GM. Unfortunately, there simply are no quickj fixes without knowing what fault codes are associated with the various lights/modules involved. Ive had issues with the main fuse only partially blowing and causing similar (1 side of the fuse has 12-14v, the other side will test at 5 or 8 or 10. Not completely blown, but too low to run the systems downstream of it). Also had issues with Body modules, rodents chewing through wires (g101 ground) and others. I recommend taking it to a professional with proper scan equipment, anything else is random guessing and that usually just wastes time and money.

Throttle body may be in limited or limp home mode . Had it ran differently before this ? Any recent work on engine ?

I assume you are referring to the child lock-out switch for the rear doors. On the 2005-2006 models, open the rear doors. The white plastic key operated cam is near the inside end of each rear passenger door. Set to Horizontal to keep the inside rear door handles from opening the door, even when unlocked. Set to Vertical to allow normal operation. Test for that proper operation with each position. I did an I-Net search for the term Nurses Switch and came up with nothing further. Hopefully this helps.

Make sure you get any air out of the system. Check wiring and temp sensor connector for damage.

it is in gas tank sounds like wire as came of of sending unit

The radiator itself may not have a cap. It probably is using the reservoir tank to check and add antifreeze.

If dealer installed unit or came with car go to dealer for code.

What happens when you shift manually? If so, I would definitely take to tranny specialist.

If your key has the resistor pellet with the short wire on each side, I can provide a bypass procedure. The vats wires are small and susceptible to damage. You will need to access the bcm connector. Basically, you need to measure the resistance of the pellet and make a resistor that has equal resistance out of a variety of resistors in series and parallel. I can do the math on that, if you tell me the resistance of the pellet. Then you cut the two vats wires at the bcm and solder the resistor to the back of the connector. I have done this on several cars.

check the condition of the earthing strip on the engine to the shell also the shell earth. a week earth can limit the voltage from the alternator to the battery
