Take the rubber hose loose at the nozzle, try the washer. if water comes out then the little hole in the nozzle is stopped up. Use a small needle or stickpin to clean it out while someone works the washer switch.

Usually, hoses pop off if the radiator/expansion tank cap is incorrect/broken. Find out if this "mechanic" changed the cap, if they did, get the old one back or get a replacement from the dealer. I have never gotten a dependable replacement from any parts stores. If they didn't change it, change it anyway and see what happens.

Possibilities are brake switch, fuse, or grounds. Since all three are out. Grounds are usually on the drivers side attached to the frame by the left tail light assembly. I would recheck the fuse if you didn't pull it out and look at it. Corrosion can cause the lights not to work, but the fuse is good.

There are two fans on for air and one to keep the engine cool the engine one is not working so that wire was the ground or the power wire and needs to be fixed. That can be a number of things. I just had a car with that noise and it was a broken motor mount. This caused the engine to move when you push the gas pedal, the fan hit the radiator shoud and that was the noise. I can't really diagnose the problem, unless I am there to witness the noise.

Is this the only light that is out? If so the bulb has failed. You would have to change the bulb. Pop the plastic cover over your instrument cluster, Unscrew the instrument cluster (4 screws) , pull towards yourself .The bulb is behind the temperature gauge. There you will find a holder of the bulb, turn left or right to unscrew remove and change the bulb. I believe it to be 194. When installing bulb wipe clean with cloth and don't touch. Skin oil tends to make for short life. Install bulb and go in reverse till all is together. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.
