2005 dodge neon idle.
Get the code. Codes never tell you to change a sensor, they just indicate the problem circuit they are seeing. Only sometimes it is a failure of the sensor.
You probably need test equipment like a digital voltmeter. Maybe join a neon forum to find out how others solved the problem.

Timing
The Dodge Neon has an Interference engine. That means when the timing belt breaks, you likely have bent some valves. You will need to remove the head, and have the valves replaced. Best done by a qualified mechanic that knows how to replace the timing belt.

95'Dodge neon wont strart after timing belt have been replace
Sounds like you still have the timing out. If its out a tooth on the neons it wont start. I have worked on alot of them after people have changed timing belt or water pump....if this is the caes and you have to time it again. What happens in most cases is when cams and crank are in there proper position when tightening the belt eiter one of the cams or the crank slip.....if this is the case contact me and i will give you a few pointers yhat may make it easyer....hope this helps and if so Please rate this post and good luck.
2005 Dodge Neon STX All locks suddenly stopped locking.
Have you checked the usual issues? Battery in fob and engine connections, fuse boxes (probably 2 one interior and one in engine bay or trunk) do you have a second fob that you can try? If the buttons on the interior do not work then probably a fuse has blown or a relay in which some diagnostic troubleshooting will need to be started. A multimeter and jumper leads (not jumper cables to start a dead battery) will get you far enough. A schematic of the power locks will come in handy.
