2 possible things. 1st(cheapest) you have air in cooling system. Need to burp it. 2nd(expensive) you may have blown head gasket. I tend to think air is in cooling system and your level is low.

Emission System Incorrect Purge FlowPossible causes: poor/loose connection, faulty purge control solenoid valve (PCSV), faulty PCM.Check for loose electrical connector and for loose or broke vacuum hose to it. If ok, you will need a voltmeter and vacuum gauge to test it. If fails test, replace it, if ok, then likely a faulty pcm. Have you checked the usual issues? Battery in fob and engine connections, fuse boxes (probably 2 one interior and one in engine bay or trunk) do you have a second fob that you can try? If the buttons on the interior do not work then probably a fuse has blown or a relay in which some diagnostic troubleshooting will need to be started. A multimeter and jumper leads (not jumper cables to start a dead battery) will get you far enough. A schematic of the power locks will come in handy.

p0456 is a code for the fuel evapoation system so it sounds like the fuel tank breather system is faulty try running with the fuel filler cap off to help diagnose the issue

I have seen fuel pressure issues cause this. Fuel filter, or fuel pump. However, I have also seen the catalytic converter cause this issue. The honeycomb, located inside the catalytic converter, breaks up and will block the exhaust when you accelerate. Engine power is lost, until you let off the gas and let it idle. Then, the chunk falls down from the exhaust port, and it runs fine again. Until you get on the gas and increase the velocity of the exhaust, and the chunk blocks the exhaust gasses again. Good luck

OMG. sounds like you have issues. One of the wires must have rubbed through to ground. Start by replacing the wires. Then put in a factory switch.

I have seen voltage issues with my dodge stratus. The alternator was swinging the voltage high and low. That is not good for electronic items. Also, electronics do not function when the voltage gets below 10 to 11 volts. Ensure that your charging voltage is high enough and that the battery cables are clean and tight on the battery. It should only be one flasher. You do need to use the right bulb not something close. You could have a contact issue with the bulb or at a plug connection

Change you transmission fluid and filter. Your fluid must be clean for transmission to work properly.

The easiest thing to check first is the body ground cable, is it there, is it loose, is it broken? take it off, clean the connections and reinstall it. Do the dash lights or interior lights go out when the engine dies? What do you mean that the speedometer doesn't work right? Does it bounce, Bang going into reverse intimates it has an automatic transmission, and you are driving the car when it shuts down. Des the transmission do anything strange while driving? If driving and the engine shuts down, does the car come to a stop somewhat slowly or abruptly? If abruptly, it may be the transmission going into two gears, stalling the engine. It is most likely an electrical problem that needs more diagnosis. Is this a rust belt car, is there rust under the fuse box or where wires go from front to back in the car, or in the driver or passenger side firewall or floorboard? Does it make any difference if the headlights or parking lights are on or off? Does the car have air conditioning, if so does it make a difference if it is on or off? It may even be the ECU quitting when hot, does the problem go away, or take longer to happen if you put an ice pack on the ECU? May have a bad thermostat responsible for overheating and smell. Till resolved turn on heater full blast and open window! Continue to monitor for leaks and lack of pressure in cooling system. Fill expansion tank to the mark and make sure all hoses and clamps are tight at radiator and heater core.

Lock the car and then pull each door to see which one is setting the alarm. Once you know which door it is, find the switch in the door jam that operates the dome light. If the switch is adjustable, adjust it out a bit until pulling on the door no longer lights the dome light or sets off the alarm. If it's not adjustable, perhaps you need more body work to fix it. Another option is to disable the switch by removing it, disconnecting the wire, taping the wire, and letting it go inside the body.
