Nitro. Why doesn't it upshift?

If your vehicle with a Nitro engine is not upshifting and you're getting a P0750 code, it indicates that there is a problem with the shift solenoid "A". This solenoid is responsible for controlling the hydraulic pressure inside the transmission that helps to activate the clutches and bands that are responsible for shifting gears. There are a few reasons why the shift solenoid "A" may not be functioning properly, which could lead to the transmission not upshifting. These reasons include:
  1. Malfunctioning Shift Solenoid "A": The shift solenoid "A" could be faulty, stuck, or damaged, preventing it from functioning properly.
  2. Wiring Issues: There could be issues with the wiring or connections leading to the shift solenoid "A," which could cause it to malfunction.
  3. Low Transmission Fluid: If the transmission fluid is low or dirty, it could prevent the shift solenoid "A" from functioning properly, causing the transmission to not upshift.
  4. Internal Transmission Problems: There could be internal problems within the transmission, such as a clogged valve body, damaged transmission bands, or worn clutches, which could cause the shift solenoid "A" to malfunction.
It is recommended to take your vehicle to a certified mechanic or dealership to diagnose and repair the issue, as transmission issues can be complex and require specialized knowledge and equipment to fix properly.

Dodge nitro 2007- Never had any problems purchased 2012. Yesterday the wipers went on and will not shut off. Today on way to work no signal blinkers

You need to have the BCM (body control module) scanned for faults. This requires a dealer level tool.

While driving my dodge nitro 2007"MIL" appeared. I drove it for about 1 Km, and switch the engine off. The following day, when I turned on the ignition the engine did not start.

MIL means 'Malfunction Indicator Lamp'. This is to warn you there is a problem with the vehicle. You will need to get the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic system or an OBD2 scanner. A Good mobile Auto Electrician can come to you to do this. This will give you an error code for what the problem is. The vehicle will not start because of the electronic system within the vehicle. It reads the fault as a serious one. It is a system cut out for safety.

Dodge nitro se 2007 glow plug light comes on intermitamtly whilst driving should i be worried

If you're finding it difficult to service/repair your car, get one of those online manuals. You'll not have to wait for others to answer, or rely on mechanics and all. Plus i know a website that has very good manuals online, without expiry i.e. for lifetime. www.reliable-store.com best of all I've tried

My door handle broke, so I bought a new one, I cant figure out how to take the broken handle off. A 2007 Dodge Nitro.

Remove door panel, then unbolt handle. Verify no screws in door panel then yank. Screws probably in armrest and by door handle, maybe under switch pod lid
