Key locked in car
Find some metal pallet banding cit a piece about 18 to 20 inches cut or grind one end with an even vee and the other with a hook about a couple of inches long and a half inch wide on the straight part and the same on the hook but dont forget the end of the hook has to go around the rods that control l the up and movement. This makes a very handy and inexpensive tool. Take your time and feelfor the mechanism. It may take some ractice but we used them at the factory when we locked our keys inside.
Ac fuse location
not sure where the fuse is for sure either under hood or drivers side under dash,but if the refrigerant gets low as it will over time or if theres a leak the ac clutch will not kick in. even with heat on defrost the ac clutch should kick in and out if ts working proper
Fan smokes, fan runs when ac on
your fan is suppose to run when ac is on if it is smoking check to see if there is anything obstructing it you can do this with the car offf and battery disconnected turn the fan with your hand and see if it moves freely if it turns hard you need a new fan hope this helps
ABS, Traction Control, EAS Light
Probably not, but they are related to each other. Each system uses components of the other systems to function. So if one system fails the others can not work right.
Have the body computer scanned for trouble codes to proceed with testing.
Heater problems 2009 dodge nitro v6.
Possible, with rad cap off, let vehicle idle until coolant fan comes on then shut vehicle off for 30 minute cool down. Top up rad, install cap and drive and recheck heater operation and any overheating.
Blower motor resistor
Follow wires back from motor to resistor, usually in duct work, under or near glove box. Check power in and out , then you'll know.
Air not blowing through vents
Yippee. Some little actuator pulled off it's connection, 'cause the little door was stuck from the cold. When I have this kind of problem, I Google it. See if other folks have experience, to tell where you should look. Chasing duct problems is real tough.
