Hey Rhonda,
No, if it was snug against the cab it would rub, make noise, cause a rust point, etc..etc.. the bed must be sitting on the frame by itself..it allows flex and movement when it's loaded and when the truck's frame is tweaked while off roading.,, this couldn't happen if the bed was against the cab.
Hope this helps...
I'm not familiar with your truck, but, from reading up there is an aux socket in center console and then cig sockets. These are seperate circuits, centre is perm powered, cig sockets not.
When you say more than one has stopped, is it 2 x cig or 1 x cig and 1 x console?
I'd be checking the fuse and relay box under the hood, front wing sort of location (depends on year and such so I may be off here) for some circa 20 amp fuses (yellow in uk).
found this, which may or may not be the right numbers as is a different year perhaps:
Your cigarette lighter is powered by fuse #29 in the integrated power module. The power outlet is powered by #26 and if the power outlet in the center console is not working, this one is #42
Lubrication. You will need to remove the seat from the cab, and lubricate all pivots associated with the recliner mechanism. These mechanisms are made of very cheap metal alloys, and are subject to jamming and rust.
There are tiny 12 volt DC bulbs that are soldered to the circuit board inside the climate control head, you must remove the module, take it apart and replace those bulbs. You can buy the bulbs at Radio Shack Part #7219
Try this...Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback
is important and
I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some
testimonial comment about this answer.
Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day

If you're experiencing difficulty starting your 2012 Dodge Ram, even after replacing the fuel pump, spark plugs, and fuel relay, there may be several other possible causes. Here are a few things you can check:
Check the Battery: A weak battery can cause starting issues, especially in colder temperatures. Check the battery voltage and consider replacing the battery if it's not holding a charge or is more than a few years old.
Inspect the Ignition System: The ignition system includes the spark plugs, ignition coils, and spark plug wires. If any of these components are worn, damaged, or corroded, it could cause starting problems. Check these components and replace them as necessary.
Check the Fuel System: While you've already replaced the fuel pump and fuel relay, it's possible that there is still an issue with the fuel system. Check the fuel pressure to make sure it's within the manufacturer's specifications. If it's too low, there could be a problem with the fuel filter or fuel injectors.
Check the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: The engine coolant temperature sensor can affect the fuel system and cause starting problems if it's faulty or not reading the engine temperature correctly. Check this sensor and replace it if necessary.
Check the Starter Motor: The starter motor could be failing or not engaging properly, which could cause starting problems. Check the starter motor and have it tested if necessary.
If none of these suggestions resolves the issue, it's recommended to take your vehicle to a certified mechanic or dealership for further diagnosis and repair.
Your A/C system have safety switches, IE-limit switches. You could have either low or high pressure kicking out your compressor. You need a set of gauges to tell what your issue is.
