Premium Bose XM/AM/FM/CD/Radio in 2004
You should be seeing BCM trouble codes (DTCs) for the radio with a code reader. I am assuming you are hearing something (noise) from the speakers with the radio on. If so, you may have lost the programming in the radio - you could try re-flashing it. However, that radio has a number of memory locations that are set whenever the radio is turned on - one or more memory modules in the radio may now be faulty.
Shifting high rpm
You may have a throttle position sensor starting to act up. That's the system anyway. The unfortunate thing is, you have to replace the entire throttle body. Unlike most cars, it's not removable. On the fan....do you mean it's constantly loud like an airplane or big rig?
I have a 2004 GMC
Take it an have it check at a qualified repair shop for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Could have problem with the liftgate/endgate module. Don't try guessing to find a repair .
The keyless entry system has the following main components:
• The transmitters
• The endgate module (EGM) (XUV only)
• The liftgate module (LGM) (Except XUV)
When you press a button on a transmitter, the transmitter sends a signal to the liftgate module. The module interprets the signal and activates the requested function via a class 2 message over the serial data line.
Do you know what class 2 serial data communication network is ?
You need a scan tool to program the remotes .
Program All Key Fobs
To complete this programming operation, all keyless entry transmitters associated with the vehicle must be available for programming. Once placed into program mode, all previously programmed transmitters will be erased from memory upon the receipt of the programming signal from the first transmitter.
Close the lift gate.
Ignition ON, access the scan tool Liftgate Module Setup menu and select Program All Key Fobs.
Follow the the scan tool on screen instructions in order to program the transmitters. Select "Start" on the scan tool to enter the program mode.
As each transmitter is successfully programmed, the scan tool will show how many transmitters have been placed into memory.
When all transmitters are programmed, exit the program mode by selecting "Stop" on the scan tool. The vehicle will not respond to the transmitters until the program mode is exited.
Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.

I changed the spark plugs and spark plug boots in my 2003, GMC Envoy XL SLT, 6 cyl, 4.2 L engine. Now it starts up smooth but when you turn on the heater or AC the engine idle drops and the engine ru
engine soon light starts flashing off and on , this indicates a severe misfire which could damage the catalytic converter .There a few different thing's that will cause this .Plug wires , plugged fuel injectors low ,fuel pressure , If the check engine light is on or flashing ,DTC"S -diagnostic trouble codes will be stored .Have it check , most auto parts stores will do this for free ,an be glad to sell you parts .
My 2008 Envoy Denali's heater
Since you are mechanically inclined, now is the opportunity for your electrical skills.
Disconnect the plug from the back of the dashboard switch, and using a VOM (Volt-Ohm-Meter) check the plug for current when you turn on the ignition key.
The hot lead should immediately work.
If the electric meter shows the same intermittent reading you are describing, it is time to fine the relay that controls the current to that switch.
It may be under the dash, or more probably under the hood. Perform the same tests with the plug to that relay.
You should find the problem either with the switch or the relay.
Oh, yes, one more thing.
I had these same problems and found rusted/corroded wires inside the plugs, look for those with a magnifying glass.
God bless your efforts,.
2003 GMC Envoy I6 coolant problem and rough idle
Do you have heat coming out of the heater after the thermostat opens? If you do and the truck is still over heating the head gasket could be blown and burning the antifreeze through the cylinders and thus would cause a rough idle. You may want to run a compression test on the truck. Just to be sure your assumption is correct that the head gasket is good. Have you felt the heater hose to make sure it is circulating through the heater and it is not plugged. Hope this helps.
Tach in cluster is going crazy
When guages go crazy, look for the ignition switch to be the culprit, OR the stepper motor behind the tach is going out.
2006 invoy hot engine
