WHAT DO I DO CODE P060E

P060e Control Module Throttle Position System Performance. Service manual says to check all voltage and ground inputs to the ECM for an open circuit or high resistance. The computer will clear this code after three consecutive ignition cycles with no failures. Hope this helps out some.

PO 171 and PO 300 CODE GMC ENVOY

the sensor to replace is the HO2S sensor which is different to an O2 sensor. (has a different function) code p0300 is random/multiple misfires as misfires are from the electrical components you did not pay attention to items like low fuel pressure and faulty injectors which also cause random misfires.

I HAVE AN 07 ENVOY NEEDS ENGINE WHAT YEARS COULD I USE

check the engine family (4gh6 or what ever) later engines in the same family will fit and will probably have increased power. Problems may arise from the sensor s and the ECM as there may be differences. A good place to check out is google-type in your engine make and size and read wikipedia as they list vehicles with engine families and power ratings.

I have installed a Compustar CM800 S remote car starter with a Datalink ignition bypass on our 2007 GMC Envoy. It starts 3X and shuts off not satying running. Any help on this matter?

Rip it out restore the wiring to original and leave well alone these things always give trouble and no end of questions on here ,put car in the garage to keep it warm ,once started drive off straight away ,leaving the engine running to warm the car up will shorten the engine life ,do what the swedes do and fit a small electric heater into the cylinder block ,park car in the garage and dump the junk in their, then fit a block heater and using a timer to turn it on to wamr the engine a hour before you leave for work .

Can alternator put out 14.2 volts but not enough amps to charge battery and turn off dattery light?

Yes and no. It sounds like you have a wiring problem. The alternator output could be 14 volts and only one or two amps, but that would be enough to kill the warning light. Its more likely the alternator is charging but the current is not reaching the battery.

I recently replaced the clutch fan on a 2009 Envoy but the vehicle is still making the same noise as before I changed out the clutch fan - does anyone have any ideas on what else the problem could be.

Check the A/C Cluch . This is a common problem on today's Cars . If that is not it , It is most likely your Idler pulley for the Serpentine Belt , once they get some miles on them or a little dirt they start to be trouble . Hope this helps!!! Grant

Gmc keyless entry

I would start by replacing the battery in the key fob remote that goes on your keychain. You can take it to most auto part stores and they will test/replace the battery in the device. It's a fairly cheap fix. If the device still isn't working after a new battery, then you will need to replace the fob. Some auto part stores like, AutoZone, will carry some of them but some you need to go to your local GMC dealer.
