To fit it you need to pop off the mirror plate itself, remove the (7 I think) screws to access the wing mirror cover clips. Squeeze those to release the cover, remove the cover to expose the indictor unit which can then be unscrewed (2 screws) and the push-on electric plug removed. Reverse for putting back together. What model and year is this Honda? Did the ignition parts come with new keys? On most modern vehicles new keys need to be programmed to that specific vehicle. If it isn't programmed the immobiliser will not turn off and the vehicle won't start.

This could be so many things so you want to check your basic tune up items first. Air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs. If these have high mileage then it may be time for a tune-up. Beyond that, as your car warms the catalytic converter gets extremely hot. Having any issues with your engine or the converter can cause the converter to restrict your exhaust flow to the point of shutting down your engine. Once the exhaust/converter cools, it allows the exhaust to flow more freely. This can be tested with a vacuum gauge (follow the instructions that come with the gauge) or by paying attention the flow from the exhaust tailpipe as the vehicle warms up.

have you checked the ignition coil? Did you also replace the spark plug wires?Have you checked for any trouble codes?
