Check the wring at all the wheels. Sometimes connections forget to be made or road conditions may affect the integrity of the wiring connectors on the other wheels. You may have a sensor go bad also.

Remove the two 10 mm (head) bolts that hold the stop light. This bolts are between the tail light assembly and the tail gate weatherstrip. You can see them without having to remove anything. By using a masking tape wrapped flat screwdriver, pry "back" the whole tail light assembly. Once out, you can twist the brake light (or reverse, or turn signal) bulb plug, remove and replace the bulb. The Getz uses standard two filament brake globes (1/4 turn to install).

I would start by inspecting the wiring to the starter, It could be that the signal wire (the wire that activates the starter solenoid) is touching a 12volt power wire. Check the starter relay. It is possible that the relay is old, weak, and is time to replace. Also the ignition switch, check it for proper operation. Pay attention to the way it releases. Try underneath the car, The switch is located on the top right side of the transmission housing. the switch is located very close to the exhaust pipe.

You put the first number in with number one key, the second number with key number two and so on till the four numbers are entered ther press key five .

Pull stereo forward and get the last 4 numbers of serial number off the top of the unit. (It’s quiet easy)Add that number to 1212 and that number is the code. So if the last 4 numbers is 1234 +1234 the code is 2468. Push 1 till you get 2, 2 till you get 4 and so on. 5 is the enter button.
The small sticker is the serial number.

It is likely the ground connection FROM the lights to the body. It may also be corroded connectors in the bulb holder.

Take your car to a Good mechanic and they can use computer software or an OBD2 Scanner to diagnose exactly what is causing the problem. You might have to pay for this service. Local garages are normally cheaper than a Dealership.
