Go to autozone or similar and have it scanned for free

Lift it and then remove the belly plate ,disconnect the battery and then remove the starter motor its not difficult but can only be done from underneath

maybe just a bit of un burnt fuel, if it has done it only once , common at high speed to leave unburnt fuel in cylinder when taking pressure of the accelerator

on the gearbox will have a connector with 2 wire coming from it and the end of switch will have a nut shape so can be undone

HI Kevin, It sounds like it could be the p.c.m. If possible ,try to get a scan which of course would be difficult if it is not starting,but you can order a low cost scan-tool from amazon.com.Auto zone and other auto stores do free scans just to let you know.The scan tool would indicate where the problem is likely to be and save a lot of guess-work.........Frank O'Donnell

check masterswitch at driversdoor to see if switch has power or faulty relay.

Try boosting it then go from there
