Where is flasher relay on 2007 jeep patriot
Nice guess, but buzzzzzzzzzz , back to go. do not collect 200 bucks.
sadly no symptoms only my wasted time on an easter egg hunt.
hazards fail on all 4 corners, or just dash lamps fail.>????
what? the cluster has a brain too, an can fail even if tail lights flash.
the Blink DRIVER IS INSIDE THE TIPM. (under hood)
did you scan it first?
if not you many be on a wild goose chase.
MK jeep , it's in the FSM book. read it or log in to alldata.com?
there is no such thing on 07 (no relay)
(how it really works is...) bar stool, yak.
the steering stalk is now a computer
you throw the switch, the switch closes and the brain
sends a serial data command on to the buss, called LIN buss
this goes to the hood brain, the TIPM, box.
this brain hears the command and executes it. by turning on
high power transistors drivers to flash 4 lamps. (and hazard does 4)
does hazards fail too, again, no inputs from you.
there is no fuse, nor any relay. no direct fuses like old days
but are fuses , 8,17,33 but this kills many other things.
its all 100% electronic, now. "magic" i fix this stuff for 50 years.
the TIPM has 4 outputs.
so you never told me both sides fail front and rear.
so cant help much,,,,
which of 4 lamps are dead, did you replace lamps that are dead first.
that be first if one fails. not attacking the TIPM
all 4 dead, , comm errors? scan it.
one side dead. be hard for that to happen. due to 4 drivers.b
but i dont have schematic of TIPM no body does, if i had it
id was 10x smarter even saying how to fix a TIPM.
I can. (but i know now to rev. engineer parts)
tell more get more
1: are all 4 corners dead?
2: just cluster , repeater lamps dead?
3: just hazards dead?
