Air bag clock spring replacement
You will have to remove your steering wheel to replace this. First disconnect your ground on your battery. Let the car sit for a couple minutes to make sure all charge is out of the wires. On both sides of the steering wheel, there will be to little square covers. Take those off. there will be a torque bolt behind these covers. Remove those. After doing this, your air bag on the steering wheel will be able to be removed. then your ill see a nut in the middle of the steering wheel. Remove this nut. The next step can be done in two ways. one you can get a steering wheel puller to remove the steering wheel, or you can grab a hold of the steering wheel on both sides and shake the steering wheel loose. This will work most of the time but may not. After removing the steering wheel your clock spring will be underneath it. There is either two or four screws holding this on. install in reverse order. When you put your steering wheel back on, there are marks on the rod and the steering wheel you will need to line up to make sure your steering wheel is straight.
