My Opel Corsa dies down during driving, it will only start again after 7 to 10 mins, l have no clue whats happening.
No idea offhand to be honest i would need my head under the bonnet to know what wrong .could be anything from the gauze filter in the fuel tank on the bottom of the fuel pump becoming chocked up and leaving the car allows it to drop away to a faulty pump overheating or the contacts ,maybe even a ignition module overheating ,Best advice is ask a local mechanic to have a look for you as normally these early opel corsas with the 4 cylinder engine are bullet proof they are even valve free if the timing belt snaps .
1999 Opel Corsa bottom pulley, can you move it manually to set up the timing
Which engine is in your car? I am assuming you are refering to the Crank Pulley? The crank pulley can be turned Clockwise by hand with a bit of effort. You will hit resistance at regular points as the pistons create compression.
*Note* Is the timing belt still on the engine? You will also need to know if yours is an 'Interference' engine. With an 'Interference' engine the pistons will hit the open valves as you turn the crank stopping it from turning.
