I had the same problem with my Corsa Lite Sport. Try turning the ignition key slightly counter-clockwise when you hear the clicking.

You must have a fault code test run first, that is the start point on all modern systems of engine control.

Buy a cheap OBD2 code reader from eBay, plug it in and write down the error codes it displays. Then Google the codes and you will have your answer.

Check if your tail light bulbs are both 21/5 w types. as they should be. if 1 is only a 21w, thats the problem there. fit 2 21/5 w bulbs, problem solved.

you could have a blocked vain in the engine this would cause the light to come on. when changing the oil you should use oil change fluid before changing the oil it helps remove the old deposits and they get stuck in the oil filter.. then do the oil and filter change

read light could be the hand brake switch. but you would need to look to see what simble its showing first.

with the timing belt off check the water pump make sue it moves round easily if not replace. check the movement of the cams as well. would say it was the water pump at fault. they should be changed at the same time as the belt.

check the wiring to the horns water can get in the wiring plug and corrode the connection... sometimes just needs a good clean but you may need to replace the connector. failing that the horn has gone.

The ignition coils or the ignition control module is not work or the wires are bad.In that case the ignition and the parts to it will need to be replaced.

The first thing to do is have a fault code test run on the engine control module.
