2001 Opel Corsa 1.7 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

I have corsa 1.7d guys it can only start once a day at morning while still cold, but around 11:00 morning at summer time it won't fire up so any help please

Vacuum leak at intake check pcv tube and valve

prime system by switching on the ignition three times for 15 seconds each time.then operate starter maximum 30 seconds. if engine still dont start wait 5 seconds repeat the procedure.if engine does start idle rough run engine fast idle speed for one minute purge air out the lines until engine run smooth.

warped discs are usually the cause of that problem

cam sensor fault. it is the most common thing to do this. some times dont leave a code on ecu.

what is the code could be fuse related or connection related even a defective speed sensor

The ignition coils or the ignition control module is not work or the wires are bad.In that case the ignition and the parts to it will need to be replaced.

The first thing to do is have a fault code test run on the engine control module.

No idea offhand to be honest i would need my head under the bonnet to know what wrong .could be anything from the gauze filter in the fuel tank on the bottom of the fuel pump becoming chocked up and leaving the car allows it to drop away to a faulty pump overheating or the contacts ,maybe even a ignition module overheating ,Best advice is ask a local mechanic to have a look for you as normally these early opel corsas with the 4 cylinder engine are bullet proof they are even valve free if the timing belt snaps .

Question edited to add maker. Question moved from Computers and Internet. The flashing engine light is the key. Connect it to a OBD2 scan tool and the code will tell you where the problem is. Garages will normally read the codes for free in the hopes of getting the work. A local garage will drive to you with a scan tool. It takes 3 minutes.
