This can depend on which engine size is fitted. The simplest method I use is the large radiator hoses. Start at the radiator and find the largest black hose coming out of the top of the radiator. Follow it back to the engine block and see what shape the connecter tube is on the actual engine. The thermostat housing will have a dome shape to it and the pipe will mount to it sideways. If the top pipe connector doesn't look like that go back to the radiator and follow the other big pipe back to the engine and look for it there.
