Won't idle at low speed
greetings anon.hot and cold engine ? ill assume hot only.but runs ok with fast right foot???? ILL ASSUME YES!idle regulation has vast numbers of reasons for failing so ill list the physics.. only..ill reduce this to simple 1: engine misfires so bad it can idle.2:ISC regulator stuck closed, or fails for above.3:EGR stuck open. and makes ISC seem bad but is not.The ISC is and idle speed control system.it can not raise idle if engine is running super badit cant do that, it can only add air.in a servo loop system.so a savvy mech, uses his right foot. to prove thisin 1sec flat (i call it the happy foot)if i can raise idle easy, it's iSC messing up.if i can't the engine runs bad.easy no?ever get a tuneup this decade?
Car shaking hold and engine light flashing 2009 suzuki swift
Please ask a local mechanic too have a look in this case as it could be anything and i couldnt advise without having the engine in front of me .sorry for indecisive answer but modern day vehicles have so many electronic sensors that from afar i just couldnt tell you and to admit i know everything about every make and model on the road would be detrimental to my charecter, iam the original back street cowboy i admit but i will fix things that other garages want a fortune to do as they renew all the parts so something must work ,ME i take them apart and test and try to repair but in this i get called a cowboy, but many years ago when i worked in fleet commercials then if you didnt repair things you were put out in the street as proper mechanics repaired things.Compared to today

How to replace ball joints
swift not swift+ (answered)
out side USA too, not sold here. hard that makes it.
there are 3 types. just one look answers. that
- they unbolt.(clip)
- the press out
- or the whole arm is replaced(like suzuki sports)
if you see nobody selling discrete balls , then bingo.
they do.
so i go to rockauto.com
they attempt (amazing) to sell to international market (rare here)
so I look and there it is, type. 1 and 2 it has a large snap ring.
Moog sells the whole arm for 50 bucks.
you buy the balls, and press out the old and press in the new.
and then put back the clips.
the labor to do just the balls parts. can exceed , new arms cost
easy, and for sure if not living next to a machine shop with press.
Brakes squeaking

Suzuki swift battery been tested still having problems starting when damp weather
This engine doesn't have a choke, it is electronic fuel injection.
The
following are the general instructions on the start of diagnosing any
electronically controlled engine or transmission problem.
The
engine and the automatic transmission (transmission control is only
for automatics, engine is still computer controlled no matter the
transmission type) in this vehicle are computer controlled and in
most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory
of the computer control module. There are exception to this, such as
the Mass Airflow Meter and fuel pressure problems. What must be done
is to have all the basic testing done such as a scan of the system
for fault codes as well as a check with a live data scanner tool for
engine functions that are not within range of normal, a trained
technician is required to know what is correct and what isn't, then
based on careful diagnostics done from a factory repair manual the
correct part is replaced or the wiring repaired or the computer
replaced (known as the PCM or ECM,ECU), which is very rarely the
problem. Other basic checks must be done as well such as mechanical
problems with the engine as well as engine state of tune and mileage
on the engine. The transmission can have mechanical issues as well
such as no gear engagement at all or a failed pump or other pressure
related problems. Also engine mechanical problems can and do cause
many drive-ability related problem such as rough idle and other
symptoms.
